A traditional tapas bar located on the corner near an attractive church. We stumbled upon it by chance, and it was love at first sight. The place is always packed, and reservations are a must. Since we didn’t reserve, we had to wait for a table. Inside, the atmosphere is lively and energetic—you can feel the joy of people enjoying great food. The waiters are friendly and hardworking. We ordered many tapas and enjoyed every single one. The prices were reasonable, and we even got one dish on the house. Their wines are excellent. Overall, an outstanding tapas experience in the heart of the city.

Such great vibes, people sitting inside, standing by tables outdoors, sitting on the steps of the cathedral... but the food!! Try the mushroom with soft egg, it's incredible. The anchovy& olive, beef stew with potato smash, cheese croquette... all good.

Must try the cod croquettes, the anchovies, the daily special tuna and the green peppers. Give the hake a miss but the lemon beer was very nice. Bit hectic inside and it took about 40 minutes for our final two pinxos to come out. The patatas bravas looked good although we didn’t have it. Nice view overlooking the cathedral.
Definitely more of a modern cuisine dining experience. We enjoyed it but it was not our favourite. I think we prefer the hectic chaos of the authentic bars!

I stayed in sansebastian for 4nights. I went there 3times 😁

A waitress in charge of the terrace is excellent!!! I'm totally impressed with her hard work.

Grilled merluza (hake) is cooked perfectly.

I can't get enough of the brocheta de langostinos(jumbo prawn skewer)🤩
I want more!

Panceta asada(pork belly)surprised me🫨 Humus and lemon mustard vinegarette sauce with it is fantastic.

Terrina de cordero(lamb) is so tender!!
I totally love it with lemon spiced kouskous.

We reserved a table but when we turned up with our small dog we were asked to sit in the window on the ground floor. We had some wonderful food but after we left I was notified of a charge for not turning up for our reservation 🤬
We were charged €40 for not turning up even though we spent over €80 on food and drink. I have tried calling and emailing to explain and prove that we were there but the automated system will not allow me to speak to a human person 🤬
We were travelling across Spain in a motorhome and had left San Sebastián before we were notified so we couldn’t go in person to complain 🤬🤬🤬🤬
