Beautiful beach with outdoor showers and footwash plus loungers to rent. Gets very busy in peak season. There's often beautiful art on the sand.

A beautiful place in Spain where we had a great time swimming to the platform from which you could jump in to the water there. People who rent a flat were young and helpful. Loved the place!

Beautiful, dog friendly, and safe.
There are so many people walking their dogs on the beach and they even go into the water together.
It was a bit chilly but it was okay to get in.

Beautiful beach with good facilities nearby. Tide can come in quickly so be careful where you decide to settle in the sand. Water is is lovely, but be careful of the waves if visiting with little ones 👶. Water has been segmented to allow swimming in one section and water sports in another.

San Sebastian has beautiful, soft beaches in an idyllic setting. They've never been too crowded for me and we've been in June and September (I imagine it's probably overcrowded in August).

Worth considering that it is the ocean water, so it does stay colder longer into the season.
