What a beautiful space and a truly superb meal. We ate on the patio on a sunny Sunday afternoon. The tables were well spread out for privacy. The staff were helpful with great wine choices. We love good tasty food and every dish hit the mark with some new local tastes. We ate artichokes with payoyo cheese, which is now a new favourite, really beautiful smoked sardines, some lovely hake and beautifully cooked and moist pork sirloin. The dessert was fantastic with meringue ice cream so special. This was top notch food and a wonderful event for 31st wedding anniversary. This quality and experience comes, understandably, at a cost but it is worth every penny. For our superb meal and a bottle and half of wine just over 100 euros.  Thank you to all staff for this truly memorable experience

My wife and I had a wonderful evening. The setting was beautiful the evening was perfect. Apart from an early hiccup when the glass we were having wine was dirty. The rest of the service was excellent, particularly the gentleman serving us who was absolutely excellent. I apologise for not knowing his name but he was a young man with a goatee beard dressed in black. We appreciated the wonderful food which was lovely. In particular we loved the scallops the ensalada de burra was lovely  And we enjoyed the chicken dish we had. The dessert was lovely.

I very much enjoyed the wines that we chose which were perfect with the meal.

In summary I would highly recommend your establishment to anyone who wishes to have an excellent meal with good service and a lovely environment.

The location is great but the service and the attention was average.
The food was very disappointing, badly presented and of poor quality.
Definetly not good value for money.
Average spending was 35 euros per head which here in Seville is to be considered a bit expensive.
I would not suggested, even though the location is nice.
As I always say...my personal opinion of course...!
But having worked for more than 20 years in the hospitality I feel I could be right.

I had a really dreadful experience here. We showed up very excited for our Saturday night meal - it was a special occasion - having made a reservation a week prior.

Upon arrival, the manager refused to acknowledge us for 30 minutes and without explanation, told us via one of the waiters that there was no table for us (despite the fact that we could see many were available). Dumbfounded given we had clearly made a reservation, we sat there at the entrance while tens of staff walked by as if we didn’t exist - some giving us dirty looks. It was shocking and upsetting. Eventually, we convinced some waiters to persuade management to seat us.

When we were seated (in the backwaters of the restaurant), there was no sign of an apology for the rudeness. We ordered two courses but the appetizers and mains were brought very quickly all at once, so we had to hurry through them. The food was also very poor - the ox nigiri was very salty, the tuna tataki was served on a disgusting bed of raw onions, the hake was poorly cooked and served with a mixture of hot and cold potatoes and shrimp. The €65 bill for such an awful experience was really the cherry on the cake.

Between the food and the horrific customer service, I would not return and would actively discourage others to do the same - the management at Casa Del Estanque should really not be in the hospitality industry.

We have been here a few times. I am from Sevilla but living in Manchester. (I know, why, you ask?) Tonight, we are here once again. And on our own!! Why!!! This is a glorious place!! Mind you, I should never publish this!! It is 14th of October and 28°C!! Having the 2nd G&T and only us!!! The music  is fantastic and it is the third time we have requested our song and it was on within a minute. People, you don't know what you are missing!!
