I discovered this place by accident while walking by one day, and wow, I am so happy I did. Dao, Maria, and Atone are incredibly friendly and make the already AMAZING food even better by making you feel right at home.

We haven’t had Thai food of this flavor and quality since our time in Thailand. The Larb Thai salad is absolutely mind blowing.  It’ has the perfect amount of rolling heat at medium spice with this fresh and bright flavor that come from celery, cilantro, chicken, and lemon.  I’m really going to miss coming here when we leave Fuengirola! For my entrée I always get the chicken and cashew stirfry with rice, and my hubby gets The noodle stir-fries that are also super flavorful.  I absolutely love the mango with sticky rice topped with crunchy mung beans.

I ordered the papaya salad and the pad kee Mao. The salad was good and tasted similar to most from back home (I'm from the US). The pad kee mao was super salty. I couldn't eat it. I just picked the shrimp from the noodles.

Bonus points for offering the opertunity to choose the spicyness of your curry to both higher and lower level.

The BEST THAI IN FUENGIROLA

Are you visiting or living in Fuengirola, you must eat at Dao restaurant!!

Recomend the curries are amazing.

We have walked past this place over a hundred times and have always seen how busy they are and wow! No wonder why! It was our first visit here this evening and I'm confident in saying it certainly won't be the last.
The food was absolutely delicious and so full of flavour, you couldn't fault it.
The desserts also went down a treat, especially the homemade lemon mousse which my partner thoroughly enjoyed!
Would highly recommend to anyone thinking about coming here.
(I don't eat anything spicy and was super worried that thai would be too spicy for me but we had a sweet and sour stir fry, a soy sauce stir fry and pad Thai noodles and they was fabulous!)
