The bean soup was nice and filling, and service was quick - just what we needed for a late lunch on a cold Saturday! I would not return for dinner because they allow smoking, and the seating arrangement is fit for large groups. There was live music too - too loud.

We were there twice. The food is very good, tasty, and served hot and fresh. The service is awful, staff unfriendly, bored, and it takes long for them to acknowledge you. The restaurant looks very nice and the terrace looks great, but when we were there you could only sit on the terrace which is a smoking area. Not nice, especially when you are with children.

The location is so nice, the place is looking very good and fancy.
The food not at the same level as the location. Really average food but the prices were very very high especially for Baia Mare.

Located in an old building in the center of Baia Mare the place has an authentic decor and also a sort of patio. The big plus that was for me was the amability of the employees and the effort made to find best options for customers.
The prices are medium to high but portion are quite big.
Worth to try while visit Baia Mare or not only.

Update 2024:
Food and service haven't changed! Still very tasty and great. The new location doesn't have the same air and atmosphere as the one that they closed, which had more style in my opinion. This one is decorated in a new, modern way, it's more like a modern terrace on the lake. Still nice, but I believe the decor and atmosphere in the older one were nicer.
Nevertheless, you have to see this one too and try it. Totally recommended!
