I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Marmorosch Hotel, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The hotel is beautifully designed, and the rooms were spacious, nicely decorated, and impeccably clean, which made for a very comfortable stay.

One of the highlights was the swimming pool – a fantastic place to relax and unwind after a day out. The spa area was well-maintained, adding to the overall sense of luxury.

As for the restaurant, it was a bit of a mixed experience. While the ambiance was lovely, the food was fairly average, and I felt it could have been more impressive given the overall quality of the hotel.

That said, the staff were attentive and friendly throughout, which enhanced the experience. I would definitely recommend the Marmorosch Hotel for its comfort, cleanliness, and facilities, though there’s room for improvement in the dining area.

Beautiful Hotel, Friendly & Attentive Staff, Ideal Location

- Location: Very good, within ideal walking distance from the key spots in Bucharest. For POI further away it is quick and cheap to either get an Uber or take the Metro

- Staff: Professional, well dressed and friendly. Can't fault a single bad experience. The staff made our stay memorable

- Hotel Comfort/Design: The hotel had just decorated to the theme of a Venetian Christmas. It was amazing, the amount of time and money that must have gone into that would have been considerable. Well done to everyone involved your hard work was clear to see and made our stay extra special. It was a local hot spot with people not staying at the hotel coming to take professional photos

- The Vault: A unique experience in Bucharest similar to The Ned in London. The drinks are very tasty and the prices are in line with what you'd expect for a Marriott and 5* hotel.

- Room: The room was clean, new and well designed. Not the biggest of rooms but not so small as to be uncomfortable. Bed was comfortable and we slept very well.

We had an incredible stay at The Marmorosch, staying twice within two weeks in December and January. The staff was super friendly, and our room was fantastic. The breakfast buffet, with additional à la carte options, was delicious. We booked the spa package; a daily massage was the ultimate treat. The hotel was beautifully decorated for the holidays, adding a festive touch. Daniela and Gabriela were exceptionally helpful during our stays.
The excellent turn-down service and delicious chocolates were a lovely touch. We can’t wait to return to this amazing hotel!

A beautiful hotel with comfortable, well furnished rooms. Perfect location and the staff were warm and friendly.

The bed was large and comfortable, and the toiletries and shower were very good.

The spa was well equipped, however, 8 beds around the pool is not enough for a hotel with 217 rooms and offering public membership. The steam room smelt like a dirty mop head and felt unclean to sit in, everything else was fabulous, especially the sauna.

A pleasant stay and would definitely return.

The hotel is located in a historic building in the old city.  Within walking distance from most of the local attractions.  The room is clean and tidy. Excellent service from the hotel staff.  Good breakfast. Good spa facilities.
Little storage space for things due to the size of the room.
