provided an exceptional experience that far surpassed our expectations. The staff greeted us with warm smiles and a level of professionalism that made us feel instantly at home. Check-in was seamless, and we were even treated to a complimentary welcome drink—such a thoughtful touch!

The room was immaculate, beautifully designed, and filled with every amenity we could possibly need. The bed felt like sleeping on a cloud, and the view from our window was a delightful bonus.

The location is perfect—close enough to major attractions to make getting around a breeze, but tucked away enough to feel like a peaceful retreat after a busy day of exploring.

What truly sets this hotel apart, though, is the staff. From the concierge who helped us plan our itinerary to the housekeeping team who left personalized notes, everyone went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect.

We can’t recommend this hotel enough and will absolutely be returning for another stay. If you’re looking for luxury, comfort, and top-notch service, this is the place to be!

I was lucky to spend two nights at this genuinely boutique hotel this week and I was so pleased that I chose a hotel which was smaller than the ones I typically stay in when travelling for business. Without any hint of exaggeration each and every member of staff here showed a commitment to welcoming me by name and making every second of my experience memorable. The restraunt in the hotel is spectacular for both dinner and breakfast and I just wish I wasn't dealing with as much jetlag as I was which impeded my ability to enjoy fully. The location is very handy with some of Lisbon's best restaurants (of which there are many) all on the doorstep of the hotel and the river a very short stroll away. Thank you to the owners, management and staff at the Bairro Alto Hotel and I will be back!

Exceeded our expectations! We stayed at a number of different
5 star hotels across Europe this past Nov/Dec and Bairro was by far the best we stayed in. I was travelling for work ( Travel Agent) and we loved every part of our stay. The location is perfect, rooms were clean and beautifully decorated. The service made the trip! We were greeted the minute we stepped out of the car and the staff went above and beyond for us.

This was truly one of the best hotel experiences of my life.
The location was perfect for our travels to all the historic sites. Very walkable and if you can’t do that trolley cars and Tuk Tuk rides.

The staff went above and beyhond. We were greeted with fresh cinnamon water and a local liquor.

The rooms were spotless - and gorgeously decorated- beds were very comfortable with slippers and robes and beautiful accommodations- felt like I was in a palace.

The roof top bar was super fun for a quick drink and you can’t beat the view- and the restaurant was outstanding, coming from a total foodie it surpassed my wildest expectations.

They had a gorgeous gym, with sauna. Was a welcome treat in the morning. On the 4th floor with views of the square.

Get the room with breakfast included. The food was fresh, with fruit and GF pancakes, omelets, eggs, the best pork sausage I have ever had- and amazing espressos.

I am a bit of a hotel snob, and my advice to you is BOOK this! You will not regret it. If I could give it 10 stars I would.

Everything was a 10. Kind people, perfect location, gorgeous amenities, spectacular food- have no words. Thank you for the hospitality!!
