This hotel is in an old building that has been extensively updated. The neighborhood appears to be transitional, and by that I mean on the way up, not down. There is a very nice restaurant in the hotel and a wonderful breakfast is included. There are other nice restaurants near the hotel, on a placa that serves as the main entrance to the hotel just off a main street. The staff were just incredibly polite and helpful, very good English spoken (probably other languages as well as Portuguese). The rooms were European small, but very clean and well-equipped. If you're driving, call ahead so they can tell you where to park while you unload, then they will park the car in a nearby garage for a small fee. This was a very nice place.

Awesome boutique hotel. Stayed here 4 nights. Breakfast is a great spread, excellent service, and the dinner at Infame is good too. Great vibe for travelers who want upscale experience without a pretentious atmosphere. Highly recommend for anyone staying in Lisbon.

Very good hotel in the heart of Lisbon. The staff was amazing, the rooms were modern and clean, and we wish we could’ve stayed there longer.  Both the breakfast and dinner restaurant were so good as well.  Plenty of food options and everything was delicious.  Don’t hesitate the stay here at 1908 Lisboa.

If I could give more stars for the service I would. The reception staff were so helpful and nothing seemed too much trouble, their aim was to make your trip to Lisbon as successful as possible. I was unsure about their advice re the tourist tram/bus but it was worthwhile. The hotel is quirky, clean, an interesting blend of old and hip. Location is convenient but unfortunately not in the most trendy area.
Breakfast is so yummy, as is the restaurant INFAME. We ate there twice as it was so good. Highly recommend it.

Great walking distance to everything but also the metro station is close by.
Very friendly staff at the front desk and at breakfast/restaurant. We had a room on the 3rd floor and spent New Year’s Eve here and had a great view of the fire work!!!
