Everything was great, but I’ve asked only for two glasses of wine. Waiter, instead of it, included full bottle in our bill without warning. And he just asked me, what I want to do with the rest of the wine in the end, when we asked for the bill. It was awful.
But, I need to repeat - everything else was great, dishes were excellent.

A cool, stylish place with delicious food and a good wine list. The tuna tartare left a particularly strong impression.

Kontakt, located in a more residential part of Warsaw away from the tourists, offers creative dishes using farm fresh produce - see description of the chilled soup with tomatoes and the babaganoush with zucchini. The menu is small, often reflecting that the chef prefers fresh seasonal produce, and offers vegetarian options. Best to visit Kontakt with at least one other person to sample as many dishes as possible in tapas style. There is an extensive wine list and the team working there will find the perfect glass or bottle of wine for you without pushing the most expensive options. Highly recommend for a taste of creative Polish food with excellent wine options to accompany them.

Starter: Polish tomatoes with crumbled goat cheese on top, chopped chives and mustard seeds all sitting in a strawberry gazpacho. The tomatoes were fleshy and the goat cheese amongst the smoothest ever. The mustard seeds added a nice crunchy to the dish. Delightful for a warm summer day

Main course: baba ganoush without tahini. Made with nuts and zucchini with baby zucchini and peeled cherry tomatoes on top with a few slices of aubergine and topped with fresh parsley and dill

Staff was great. Very helpful. Atmosphere okay. Food was good. Some dishes were very tasty, others were okay.

Very nice modern place. Food is really tasty. Waiters were really nice with us speaking in English
