We departed from this station for an eight-hour train ride to Budapest at the end of October.  We found this station to be well-maintained, clean with very good signage to make it easy to find your train.  There are numerous restaurants, stores and bakeries within the main train terminal, which was very nice.  The public restrooms, which are very clean, are not free and they only except Polish currency or cards.  And good luck trying to get change from any of the stores in the terminal unless you buy something first.  We are grateful for some visiting college young ladies that help us on the platform identifying the train for Budapest, because the marking on the train itself was bad.  Without them we might have missed our train.  The only complaint we have was with the train terminal personnel, which had to be some of the rudest and unhelpful people we interacted with during our stay in Poland.  Terrible customer service.

Employees are very brutal to a polish citizen having a nap in the waiting hall grabbing him forcefully by his jacket while he is still half asleep and forcing him out while at the same day not caring at all about obviously extremely drunk persons falling in and around the station. The focus obviously is to have an appearance of safety while not caring at all about actual people in danger even tho there are cameras everywhere and a massive police and security presence at the station. All this happened today on the 1.1.2025, what a wholesome start into the new year. Also toilets are only payable with polish coins which are basically unobtainable for tourists arriving or those choosing to rather pay by card and not getting ripped off by the Euronet atm machines that are everywhere. Also only one way to access plattform 2 late in the evening. Lift is broken other entries closed off or shutdown.
I think i made myself clear why this only deserves one star, would give less if I could.

1. Luggage counter (photo 1, 2). Takes cards.
Monday to Saturday open at 7-22.
Sunday opens at 8-21.

2. Lockers (photo 3, 4). Coin operated.

3. Lockers at the adjacent bus station upper level. (Photo 5). Coin and card.

It was clean and quite well sign posted.  Quite a few places to pick up something to eat. Really quite a busseling place.  You had your McDonald’s but also some nice looking cafes and even a small supermarket.

Big and clean station. Easy to navigate around with lots of signs and TVs.  Huge platforms with lots of space.

Connects to a mall and trams/busses. Decent F&B options as well as luggage storage.  No complaints.
