Ole and his crew were wonderful. We got personalized service and great recommendations. The breakfasts were delicious, pizza was great, and fancy dinners were first class! Accommodations are simple but elegant. This isn’t a fancy 5-star hotel, but rather a cozy, clean, very nice family-run place. Located within easy driving distance to many fjords and activities. If/when we come back to Norway, we will go out of our way to stay here again!

Really great hotel that seems to be in the middle of nowhere at first glance but is actually really close to the road. It's expensive, but when we got there, we understood why. The rooms were more like apartments, which were very clean and modern. We spent a few days in Norway, and Blåtind is where we slept the best! When we arrived and checked in, we ordered the three-course meal, which we thought would be in the hotel restaurant. Instead, they treated us to an entire Viking experience inside a Viking lodge in the backyard. One of the staff dressed up and told us about the history of the area and the food that was served, which was world-class. The best trout I've had in my life was caught in the fjord right outside. I HIGHLY recommend this place.

Wonderful stay.  Charming hotel that feels more like a B&B.  Service was great and staff was friendly.  Beautiful rooms and very clean.  Owner takes pride and it shows.  Food was tasty.  Very cool Viking dining room.  Highly recommend!!!

I recently stayed at the Hotel and it was fantastic! The service was top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, with a super comfortable bed and a luxurious bathroom. The food was amazing, especially the breakfast buffet with a wide variety of options. The hotel amenities were excellent.

Hands down the best place we stayed while in Norway.  We loved it so much, we ended up extending our stay.  I think we stayed initially in a superior suite then upgraded to a presidential suite because that's what they had available for the other nights.  The rooms are clean and quiet.  The owners are AMAZING and super helpful.  Gave us plenty of recommendations for what to explore near the hotel.  The viking dinner cannot be missed - food is top notch, atmosphere is unique and cozy, and you can have great conversations with fellow travelers!  The hot tub outside has a gorgeous view of the mountains.  Breakfast is your usual Norway breakfast fare, but delicious nonetheless.  They have stews that my husband really loved that you can order.  I have nothing bad to say about this place.  Would def come back again.
