Pastries are all great. They ran out of the classic cookie croissants when I went (11:30am) but still had plenty of other great flavors - just keep that in mind and go early if that’s all you want!

Stumbled upon this place looking for a piece of bakery. Apparently it is pretty popular due to social media. We love pistachio and could not pass up the croissant and donut. Very yummy, but I’d be fine with less filling. They were kind enough to heat up my croissant. Don’t expect to sit anywhere. Pastry is at least €5 each.

Lourens makes a special glaze that is vegetarian, without any gelatin or artificial colors. Their homemade ice cream looks delicious, and I can’t wait to try it next time! 🍦

Saw this was extremely popular on social media and online. Mostly for the viral croissant cookie. We ordered 3 croissant cookies and a Pistachio croissant.  The croissant cookie we ate one of the right away.  You can tell it was freshly baked, still warm out of the oven.  Nice mix of cookie and croissant, would definitely get it again.  There wasn't too much of a line at the time but definitely a lot of people going in and out of the store.

The first time I saw this on social media, I said to my niece visiting then in June to get me 2 croissants. Pistachio and the cookie. It was tasty.

The second time, I went to see it for myself, location and the store , and all the products they have. I got Almond and the pistachio croissant.

It’s still the same baked croissant, it tastes good but no where in the level that you will drool with. The price is a bit high but you’re in Herengracht area of Amsterdam.

When I was there, there were only 2 small tables inside, and I think there were 2 benches outside.  There were three crew at the counter. One is texting and the other serving the customer and the last one manning the cash register.  It’s not so clean. But maybe it’s not their job to clean the store but it’s nice to keep them tidy because the trash can is already full, the crumbs from the croissants were all over the standing area where some people ate their goods.
