Restaurant Bahia is a place that truly deserves its Michelin star – and for good reason. The enchanting decor, impeccable service, and top-level cuisine make dining here a true culinary Himalaya. Every dish we had the pleasure of tasting was meticulously crafted, impressing us with both its flavor and presentation.

As people who have visited hundreds of restaurants, we can confidently say that Bahia is one of the best places we’ve ever experienced. If you’re in Malta, this culinary gem is an absolute must-visit. We wholeheartedly recommend stopping by to savor its exceptional dishes!

Visited this restaurant for the second time this Christmas Eve. On both occasions we found everything to be excellent. The attention to detail is excellent; food, service, ambience. This has become our favourite fine dining restaurant in Malta. Well done and keep it up! Will be back soon.

I celebrated my birthday in this wonderful restaurant and I want to say in short that I felt gorgeous. I was treated like a princess 😅 the food was very tasty, the staff was very pleasant and very helpful. I highly recommend it for a romantic and quiet evening. 💫🤩

The menu concept is exceptionally well-designed, from the wooden pieces to the Maltese town names of each dish, and the charming touch with the cards.

The waitresses were all incredibly friendly, taking the time to explain each dish in detail.

As for the food, we were impressed both visually and in terms of taste. Even the smaller items had so much effort put into them, and the flavours were outstanding.

The decor and overall ambiance of the restaurant were equally delightful.

The only thing that fell short of our expectations was the dessert we ordered (the Victoria). While the presentation was appealing, the taste didn’t quite match the high standard set by the rest of the meal. The chocolate cake was good, but we felt the other elements didn’t blend as smoothly as expected.

As expected, great food and very pleasant interactions with staff. As we got the seven courses with the wine pairing, there was A LOT of food and drink. I loved the starter (especially the pea soup) and the carbonara. The desserts were not my favourite, but definitely well made (one of them even had the shape of a little bee, very cute and creative). For a future visit, I will definitely choose either less courses or no wine pairing. Worth visiting
