If you have the chance to stay here, please take it. What Anita and her family have created is far beyond a hotel. You truly feel like family. The property is even more stunning in real life, the service is impeccable, and the team took so many logistics off our hands to allow us to fully relax and embrace every moment. The food and drinks were delicious, with a highlight being the nightly four course dinners. We stayed in the suite and it was the most incredible hotel room we have ever stayed in. We can’t wait to plan another trip to Principe. It’s magic!

Our stay at Principe di Salina was absolutely magical. The Island of Salina was so lovely and I would absolutely recommend this hotel if you visit! The property is beautiful with so many thought out details, and you can't beat the view! The warm hospitality made this stay even better. The Principe staff was incredible, welcoming, and helpful with anything we needed. We also loved the breakfast and dinners offered- everything was delicious! I truly can not say enough good things about our stay here and we hope to return one day!

Let me start by saying I want to live here. This was the most beautiful and relaxing vacation I have ever experienced. Principe is exquisitely designed to exude peace and calmness. Attention to detail is not overlooked. The service is impeccable and you will leave feeling part of a new family. Meals are held communal style allowing for mingling with other guests...or not....your choice. You'll leave dreaming about the freshest ingredients and most delicious meals you've ever had. Anita, the owner, is incredibly friendly and helpful and will offer the perfect itinerary (not rushed, yet still seeing much of the island) if you'd like. It's my new home away from home and I'm confident you'll feel that way upon departure as well.

The Principe di Salina is the next level of luxury and service. Waking up each morning was a surreal experience, the beauty of this place is something I never knew could exist in reality. The service from the team there is second to none, from the drinks at the bar to meals each day, the quality and service was outstanding. It’s also in an ideal location, it’s very quiet and only a short pleasurable walk to town or to the beach.

My partner and I recently stayed at the Principe di Salina hotel in Salina, Sicily, for 5 nights, and it was nothing short of magical! (wish we have stayed longer!) From the moment we arrived, it felt like home, and we knew we had found something truly special.

The location is absolutely breathtaking, perched on a hill with stunning views of the water and mountains. The design of the hotel is both elegant and cozy, perfectly blending into the natural beauty of the Aeolian Islands.

The food at the hotel is a real highlight. We were treated to amazing dishes, including pasta with delicious extras personally served by the owner, homemade sourdough bread that was out of this world, and a fantastic wine collection. The service was impeccable—every member of the staff was so helpful and hands-on, making sure our stay was perfect.

Getting around was super easy with electric scooters, taxis, and convenient bus stops right outside the hotel. We felt connected to the entire island while enjoying the serene luxury of the hotel.

Before our trip, we were searching for the best place to stay on the Aeolian Islands, and we stumbled upon the Principe di Salina site and blog. The story of Anita, the hotel owner and host, captured our hearts, and we booked immediately. We were not disappointed—Anita’s warmth and hospitality made our stay truly unforgettable.
