I don't know why, but we keep going back to Osteria dei Cameli and each and every time it's an experience like we've been there for the 1st time. The food is excellent, simple and pure. the ingredients are carefully chosen, down to the bottled water. Each plate has a story and not just a scripted one. Mr. Rote is a foremost expert of food, but at the same time is able to make you feel at ease. Never pushy, but rather a complement to the unparalleled food. this is what Italian food should be. I am not going to comment on price, since what we eat there has no comparison in terms of love and quality. You cannot put a price on a Leonardo's painting, can you? In my opinion it deserves more Michelin Stars. It's beyond me why anyone would have an experience other than perfect. Also Kudos to the kitchen as we always enjoy the company of his wife and Mother at the end of the dinner. It's always a discovery geared toward excellence and quality.
