This restaurant was on my list of must-visit places in Rome, and coincidentally only 100 metres from our hotel and recommended by the staff. We arrived at 6pm (it opens at 6:30pm) and there was already a line. Luckily, we didn’t have to wait long and were seated within an hour. If you want to avoid a long wait, I’d suggest getting there just before 6pm. They take drink orders while you’re in line, which is a nice touch. The pasta was fantastic, and the meatballs were delicious too!

The food was pretty good, especially the pastas. I didn't rate the fried artichoke, however my wife liked it.

The buratta was he special of he day and the highlight of the meal.

We arrived at 5:45 and were seated at 6:45, the line was very long by the time we were seated.

Not sure it is worth the hype, other restaurants would do equally good food without the wait and a better atmosphere.

I must have had over 10 carbonara's here in Italy during my trip and this was easily the best!

The rigatoni is a solid call above the spaghetti version. I know italians prefer a bit al dente unlike myself but this was just right. The flavor was 10/10, not too overwhelming. The sauce was not too little or too much viscous.

The pork was cooked well and not gelatinous which I adored anx appreciated.

No coke zero available but lemonade was on point.

The apps were OK, nothing spectacular.

The tiramisu  comes in a cup and ready to serve. There is a scoop of Nutella at the bottom. The tiramisu was also one of my favorites out of the many I tasted.

The inside quarters are quite tight, however the outside is susceptible to rain with mediocre cover.

There is only 1 bathroom which was underwhelming but that's not what we are here for.

The line to sit builds up quite expeditiously hence it would be wise to calculate that into your day. We waited about 20 minutes but got very lucky and had no one ahead of us.

This is a must.
I will return next time in town.

Very good food in a busy, noisy, crowded environment.  Had to wait in line around 20 mins at 2pm.  Fried artichokes were probably the best in Trastevere.  Meatballs reminded me of meatloaf, but wasn't bad.  Lamb chops were quite rustic, seasoned well, had the wood fired flavor, but was sinewy.  Their pasta gricia was superb.

There was already a line prior to the restaurant opening up for lunch! I was able to be seated during the first seating. I was a solo traveller and they sat me with another solo traveller which was a bit awkward since they didn't speak english and the table was very small. I ordered the deep fried zuchinni flower which was really fresh but didn't really taste like anything. It definately was not worth the price. I ordered the amatriciana pasta which was good but the noodles were too al dente for me. The service was super friendly. I do think this restaurant is over-hyped and the prices were expensive for what you get. I didn't think it was worth the line up.
