The worst experience ever !
the annex, was disaster 400m from the hotel with no reception, no telephone sets in the rooms, no one responsible to talk to.
-The room was next to the kitchen so it was  too noisy especially in the mornings.
-the rooms Did not look like the photos advertised .
The whole building was under construction and very noise (video is available) however they continued booking!!!
-Extremely small rooms
-extremely very expensive compared with hotels in the same area !
-I hope this review helps others make an informed decision when choosing where to stay.
-The only positive is the location is good. Nothing else.

I had the worst experience at this hotel, and I’m still in shock at how poorly I was treated. The service was an absolute disaster from start to finish..

What makes this even worse is how much I trusted this place. I had high expectations based on their flashy marketing, but it was all a facade. The way they handled my situation was heartless. I’m beyond frustrated and heartbroken that a place that’s supposed to offer comfort and relaxation could cause me so much stress and anxiety. Their refusal to address the issue, despite the evidence I provided, made me feel powerless and disrespected. I wouldn’t wish this experience on anyone.

Please, save yourself the headache and avoid this hotel at all costs. I wouldn’t want anyone else to go through what I did. There are plenty of other places that will treat you with the respect and care you deserve, but this is definitely not one of them. This place doesn’t deserve your business, and I hope my experience serves as a warning to others. Don’t make the same mistake I did—choose a hotel that actually values its guests.

Terrible service, misleading information, and not worth the price

We paid over 600€ for two nights at this hotel in Rome, and although we know accommodation in the city is expensive, the price-quality ratio was extremely poor.

One of the biggest issues was the parking. The hotel does not have parking onsite, and this wasn’t clearly explained on their website. The parking lot is over 2 km away from the hotel, more than 10 minutes walking, and about 14 minutes by car due to traffic and restricted access in the area. With the amount of luggage we had, walking that distance wasn’t an option, and the hotel staff only suggested taking a taxi, which took even longer due to the traffic. This information should be clearly stated on their website, especially for tourists who are unfamiliar with the area and need to plan accordingly.

Before arriving, I contacted the hotel, and Mario responded through Booking, telling us that it was not possible to cancel the reservation because of their cancellation policy, even though we had booked on the same day. I called the hotel immediately after making the reservation, but they refused to cancel. We couldn’t afford to lose that much money for just two nights in Rome, which made the stay extremely stressful.

The room was another letdown. It was extremely small and located in a different building from the main hotel, meaning we had to go back and forth for check-in and check-out. The walls were so thin we could hear every noise, especially the elevator. The bathroom lacked basic amenities—there was no shampoo in the dispenser, and it wasn’t refilled during our stay.

Breakfast was also a disappointment. On the second day, several items were clearly leftovers from the previous day, dry and inedible.

Overall, this was a very stressful and disappointing experience. For the price we paid, the service and accommodations were absolutely not worth it. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, especially given the lack of clear information on their website.

perfect location in the city surrounded by nice shopping stores and restaurants. the bathroom sink had no counter space and there was no tissues in the rooms unfortunately, the front desk counter was a bit slow as there was only two clerks but they spoke good English and were very kind. the bar is very well decorated as are the breakfast rooms, a 2 person room is a bit small as expected in a big city but the 3 person room (one queen and a pull out couch) has much more space to walk around in. the views were nice and the AC worked great. Very nice hotel

I recently stayed at the 55 Fifty-Five Hotel in Rome, and I was really disappointed. This hotel is definitely not a 4-star establishment. Upon arrival, we were forced to wait over 4 hours just to get access to our room. After such a long wait, we were expecting at least some comfort, but the room was extremely small and cramped for 4 people. It was barely enough space for two, let alone four.

To make things worse, the curtains didn’t function properly, so privacy and sleep were compromised. On top of everything, the  receptionists were extremely rude and disrespectful.They showed no care for the guests, which added unnecessary frustration to our stay.

With so many other options in Rome, I would strongly recommend avoiding this hotel. It’s overpriced for the poor service and lack of quality, and there’s nothing that justifies its supposed 4-star rating. Save yourself the trouble and book somewhere else.
