Best order something else instead of the original Alfredo Pasta. Nothing special and a couple next to us ordered 2 portions of Alfredo Pasta and probably had 2 mouthfuls of it!

I had turbot fish and potatoes which was okay.

I believe they also have a truffle risotto which they have plenty of truffles over the dish, again the couple next to us rarely ate any of it! If you love truffle like myself. I should have went for this, but wanted to try some authentic Italian dish while on vacation.

We waited a while and asked the waiter to take our order two times. Slow service. Atmosphere of the place is reasonable.

Best reserve to sit inside if you don’t want to sit outside with smokers.

Overall an OK experience.
We ordered for the start two pasta dishes, however we waited a little bit more than 30 minutes to get our plates. That's a minus even on a fully booked restaurant.
However the Fettuccine Alfredo dish was really tasty and the preparation & presentation of the plate was amazing!
The Amatriciana was not at the best. The tomato sauce was a bit acidic, In my opinion the Chef didn't taste it before plating. A little bit of balancing was definitely needed.
For both plates the pasta was cooked to perfection....we were in Italy!
The waiters were OK considering they saw us waiting ....
So we didn't go for anything else, even so we were recommended by family members some of the desserts.

Now that is how Alfredo should taste like!

Truly blessed to have had the opportunity to eat here, the birthplace of Fettuccine Alfredo!

Everything went well.

We arrived early and got lucky to have seats as we didnt have a reservation- I recommend to get this in advance as they are always, almost fully booked.

Starters were amazing. Food was amazing. Truly enjoyed it.

Who knew pasta could melt in your mouth that way!!! YUM!!!

Ate here today around 2pm. Not sure why but felt that the service was pretty slow. Food took quite a while to come….

As for the famous fettuccine, I’ll rate it a 6/10…. Pasta wasn’t al dente at all and the amount of cheese made it quite thick and gives you the satiated feeling. It’s definitely a one off place for me because I don’t think I’ll crave for this pasta ever again.

Service was good and atmosphere was nice though.

This is apparently where Fettuccini Alfredo is from. My wife had it. She said it was the best pasta she had tried all trip. They mix it fresh table side as they tell you the famous story of how and why it was created. Nice touch in my opinion.

We had dome starters that were quite good too. Desserts were tasty, buy no really memorable. Service can be a little bad as it fills up quickly. I expect more, especially at this price point. But overall best dining experience we had in Rome.
