It has been an extremely good experience. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is very cozy, with elegant furniture and decorations, and the staff is very polite and professional. We tried the Seasonal menu, and it was sublime. The taste of every dish was delicate and well balanced. Also the sommelier has been very professional, and the wine pairings were perfect. I particularly enjoyed the "tartare di trota" and the "quaglia alla brace al tartufo nero", but really everything was excellent.

I travel a lot, and have been to incredible restaurants all over the world-- but never have been anywhere like this. It is the best restaurant I have ever been to. Every component of each course (which there were many of within the tasting menu) was executed with excellence. The chefs placed abundant care into combining unique yet sophisticated flavor combinations with surprising textures for every bite. All whilst utilizing the highest quality ingredients. The service was phenomenal, I highly appreciated our sommelier, who perfectly orchestrated a drink pairing with each course and took time to educate us about the local wines. A fine dining experience that demonstrates what the true essence of good service is about. Because unfortunately, many other high end restaurants miss the mark by confusing snobbery and rudeness with the concept of fine dining. For my specific story, I initially did not realize the caliber of Ristorante Del Lago, and ended up going to dinner directly from a day of hiking. As a result, I was quite underdressed for the occasion. And although my appearance was unfittingly casual, the server treated me as though I was the queen of England herself. This to me is what true class is about. Ristorante Del Lago is not just a restaurant, this is an experience that will open your mind to food and lifestyle in a different way. And for me personally, it was open so far that it truly blew my mind.

Fantastic. I cannot give 6 stars for service, but I should. Fully deserves a Michelin star.  Excellent value... go there before they get it!

We had a wonderful lunch here last week. The staff are friendly and professional and contribute to the relaxed atmosphere of the restaurant. The food and the wine list are top notch.

Excellent restaurant in such a quaint little town. The staff are very friendly, and explained every dish served in the 45€ tasting menu. Everything they served is made there, and each dish tasted better than the previous. I would definetively recommend this to anyone driving nearby
