Pier Luigi at the pastry/gelato bar needs a raise. His service alone kept us going back. The most delicious crepes and pistachio gelato. The pizza here is also incredible. Great atmosphere

Excellent service, and amazing breakfast buffet offered by the hotel. Both Italian style and North American style breakfast (eggs, bacon, etc.), available with high quality ingredients. Great view of the ocean. However if you are here outside of breakfast time and order a drink at the bar, the price is very expensive.

We had brunch here and it was very nice. The ham and cheese crepe is fantastic, as well as the Cappuccino!

Our introduction to Positano was this establishment, as it was recommended by an acquaintance as a place to buy good gelati.

We ordered pizza by the slice, panini and gelati. All which were good and tasty.

While I have no complaints about the food, the service left a lot to be desired. The young lady who served us at the gelati/pizza al taglio/panini section of the bar was exceptionally abrupt and rude, completely spoiling the experience and atmosphere. Granted, it was busy, but being curt and taking a tone with customers (most of whom would have been tourists) is rude and unwarranted.

Were it not for the terrible service, I would have rated this establishment at a 4/5.

This place was so good we had to go back a second time, the calamari with the lemon mayonnaise was our favorite as well as the fries and pizza.
