Luogo molto piacebole, ai piedi della bellissima Trecchina. Si consumano piatti tipici locali, cucinati e preparati secondo tradizione locale. I proprietari, due fratelli, gentilissimi e preparati a soddisfare ogni esigenza. Prezzi proporzionati al tutto. Consigliato!

Very pleasant place, at the foot of the beautiful Trecchina. Typical local dishes are consumed, cooked and prepared according to local tradition. The owners, two brothers, very kind and prepared to satisfy every need. Prices proportionate to everything. Advised!

Abbiamo ordinato gli antipasti e un primo . A mio parere gli antipasti ottimi non proprio a chilometro zero ma buoni, il primo fusilli con ragù di maiale buoni è abbondanti. Vino acqua e una birra offerta dal titolare  molto gentile compreso il personale.
Tutto  incluso 25,00 Euro a persona.

We ordered appetizers and a first course. In my opinion the starters were excellent, not exactly zero kilometer but good, the first course was fusilli with good pork ragù and plentiful. Wine, water and a beer offered by the very kind owner including the staff.
All included 25.00 Euros per person.

Location bella e accogliente. Ci hanno servito un antipasto ridicolo, lagane al sugo scotte e insapori, come secondo pollo alla griglia secco e insufficiente con contorno di insalata. Finale leggermente migliore con anguria e una
buona torta di mele. Ahh dimenticavo il vino rosso della casa veramente brutto. Tutto per €35 a persona.

Beautiful and welcoming location. They served us a ridiculous starter, overcooked and tasteless lagane with sauce, as well as a dry and insufficient second course with grilled chicken with a side salad. Slightly better finish with watermelon and a
good apple pie. Ahh I forgot the really bad house red wine. All for €35 per person.

Luogo molto carino e curato, servizio buono.
Il ristorante prevede/impone menù fisso: cibo "classico" da campagna (antipasto di verdure formaggi e salumi-porzioni piccole-) pappardelle al sugo (potevano impegnarsi con un sugo un po' più "elaborato"), pollo alla brace (buono) con insalata, anguria e torta di mele. Se fosse stato un prezzo giusto - adeguato soprattutto al luogo ed al cibo - avrei apprezzato la semplicità e la esiguità dei piatti; ma dopo aver pagato 70 euro per due persone (più un bambino che ha mangiato solo una pasta al sugo - la stessa nostra-), visto che il cassiere ci ha tenuto a sottolineare che il bimbo non pagava, mi sembra un prezzo davvero esoso. Cibo semplice, non elaborato e materie prime certo non costose.

The restaurant provides/imposes a fixed menu: "classic" country food (appetizer of vegetables, cheese and cured meats - small portions -) pappardelle with sauce (they could have used a slightly more "elaborate" sauce), grilled chicken (good) with salad, watermelon and apple pie. If it had been a fair price - especially appropriate for the place and the food - I would have appreciated the simplicity and smallness of the dishes; but after paying 70 euros for two people (plus a child who only ate pasta with sauce - the same as ours -), given that the cashier was keen to point out that the child wasn't paying, it seems like a really exorbitant price to me. Simple, unprocessed food and certainly not expensive raw materials.

Piacevole "vero agriturismo" immerso nel verde della Lucania a pochi km dal centro di Trecchina, personale  cordiale, disponibile educato e gentile.
Cucina casareccia decisamente ottima ed abbondante.
Posto per famiglie per un pranzo o una cena in santa pace, con locale arredato in maniera rustica (se cercate posti a la page o gourmet levate mano) con piccolo ma funzionale parco giochi per bambini con animali domestici e da cortile liberi.
Non ho dato il massimo perché il menu è fisso, preparato giornalmente dallo staff, e non c'è possibilità di scelta.
Siamo stati con la famiglia riunita, figli e nipotini, a cena poco prima di ferragosto ed il menu quella sera prevedeva un antipasto ottimo ed abbondante con salumi bruschette e verdure, un primo di pasta fatta in casa (acqua e farina) condita con un sugo di pomodoro fresco meraviglioso, a seguire un agnello alla brace decisamente ben fatto con patate ed insalata e per chiudere frutta ed una torta di mele sempre fatta in casa.
Il prezzo, bevande escluse è di 35eu a persona ed è decisamente onesto.
Posto che  mi sento di consigliare vivamente per un pranzo od una cena in famiglia, piacevole e senza fronzoli.
Se siete in cerca di un posto informale dove mangiar bene e stare in santa pace è il posto per voi.

Pleasant "real farmhouse" immersed in the greenery of Lucania a few km from the center of Trecchina, friendly staff, helpful, polite and kind.
Home cooking is definitely excellent and plentiful.
Place for families for a peaceful lunch or dinner, with a rustically furnished place (if you're looking for a la page or gourmet places, raise your hand) with a small but functional children's playground with free pets and farmyard animals.
I didn't give my all because the menu is fixed, prepared daily by the staff, and there is no possibility of choice.
We were with the reunited family, children and grandchildren, for dinner just before mid-August and the menu that evening included an excellent and abundant appetizer with cold cuts, bruschetta and vegetables, a first course of homemade pasta (water and flour) seasoned with a sauce of wonderful fresh tomato, followed by a decidedly well-done grilled lamb with potatoes and salad and to finish fruit and a homemade apple pie.
The price, excluding drinks, is 35eu per person and is definitely honest.
A place that I would highly recommend for a pleasant, no-frills family lunch or dinner.
If you are looking for an informal place to eat well and stay in peace, this is the place for you.
