Perfect service, perfectly curated small plates. If you are driving through the south of Italy this is a must stop for a fine dining experience. The head chef does an exceptional job matching spices and flavour palettes in unique dishes (loved the use of sumac) and the front of house manager/sommelier pairs wines so effortlessly with the dishes.

This restaurant isn’t good only to taste new things; it’s also a comfortable place where you can hang out quietly with your friends. They have a wonderful garden and the staff is really kind with customers: they do their best for you to  have a great experience.

Pranzo è riduttivo, abbiamo vissuto una vera e propria esperienza. La location presenta un ambiente elegante ed accogliente dove il personale di sala, pur rimanendo sempre professionale, riesce a metterti a proprio agio sin dal benvenuto. Le pietanze non deludono le aspettative, materie prime ricercate e di elevata qualità, presentate in maniera innovativa ed accattivante. Una nota particolare per la podolica (salsa verde, cipolla bruciata, fieno) piatto che è riuscito a trasmettere davvero l'essenza del territorio sorprendendo il palato, chiudendo gli occhi ci si riesce a sentir parte dell' ambiente circostante.
Notevole l' abbinamento di elementi tipici della cucina salata ben inseriti nei dessert. Molto graditi anche gli assaggi fuori menù gentilmente offerti. Piacevolissimo incontro finale con lo chef dal quale emerge il piacere e l' emozione che lo anima in cucina. Per concludere, esperienza consigliata in quanto ogni assaggio ha suscitato in noi uno spontaneo sorriso di stupore.

Lunch is an understatement, we had a real experience. The location presents an elegant and welcoming environment where the dining room staff, while always remaining professional, manages to put you at ease right from the start. The dishes do not disappoint expectations, refined and high quality raw materials, presented in an innovative and captivating way. A particular note for the podolica (green sauce, burnt onion, hay) a dish which managed to truly convey the essence of the territory surprising the palate, by closing your eyes you can feel part of the surrounding environment.
The combination of typical elements of savory cuisine well integrated into the desserts is noteworthy. The off-menu tastings kindly offered are also very welcome. Very pleasant final meeting with the chef from which emerges the pleasure and emotion that animates him in the kitchen. To conclude, a recommended experience as each tasting aroused a spontaneous smile of amazement in us.

Bramea: una farfalla nella campagna lucana.
Il rischio che mi pare corra l'Alta Cucina è quello di diventare puro spettacolo, virtuosismo fine a se stesso.
Non è certo così per Francesco Lorusso, chef del ristorante Bramea. Qui le sensazioni, dalla prima all'ultima portata della deliziosa cena che mi è stata proposta col menù 'terra-mare-lago', sono state di ascoltare, vedere, toccare, ritornare indietro negli anni. Non sono un esperto, però, insomma, la percezione dello sforzo comunicativo del padrone di casa è stata forte e commovente e, ne sono sicuro, resisterà per tanto tempo. Mi sono ritrovato nel cuore della campagna lucana, tra alberi di fico, mucche podoliche, fieno, odori della terra...
gustando piatti mai banali e dalla forte personalità, caratterizzati da originali contrasti, sapori decisi, ingredienti acidi o amari, contaminazioni con materie prime raccolte in diversi angoli del mondo.
L'ambiente è confortevole, fine ed elegante, il servizio eccellente, onestissimi i prezzi.

The risk that Haute Cuisine seems to run is that of becoming pure spectacle, virtuosity as an end in itself.
This is certainly not the case for Francesco Lorusso, chef of the Bramea restaurant. Here the sensations, from the first to the last course of the delicious dinner that was offered to me with the 'land-sea-lake' menu, were of listening, seeing, touching, going back over the years. I'm not an expert, however, in short, the perception of the host's communicative effort was strong and moving and, I'm sure, will last for a long time. I found myself in the heart of the Lucanian countryside, among fig trees, podolian cows, hay, smells of the earth...
enjoying never banal dishes with a strong personality, characterized by original contrasts, strong flavours, acidic or bitter ingredients, contaminations with raw materials collected in different corners of the world.
The environment is comfortable, refined and elegant, the service excellent, the prices very honest.
