Beautiful hotel in the centre of the city. Breakfast was fantastic. Rooms were kept clean and the bed and linen was so comfy. The hotel smelled lovely. One of the best showers I have ever been in. Customer service was great.

Tip: Park down on the sea front on a P4 car park if hiring a car to save some money as the hotel has no car park. Only a short walk to the sea front.

Rooms are nice. Staff is attentive. The only reason for only 4 stars is that the Whiskey Bar next door plays live music until 12am or 1am on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night. Not the hotels fault, just really a bummer in an otherwise great location.

Firstly, I think this hotel has the best bed I’ve ever slept in.  It’s amazing.  The big negative is that there’s no AC in the room, so the only way to cool it is open the window.  The street is very busy and so it was loud.   We were woken up multiple nights with the loud nightlife.
The shower and bathroom are epic good.   I don’t think there’s better water pressure in the northern hemisphere AND you’re showering in glacier fresh water!
The all inclusive breakfast was the best I’ve had in Iceland.
Parking is major challenge.   We showed up on a weekend and the street was closed so that made it extra work.
If the room had AC and parking this hotel is 6 stars out of 5.  It’s really really good if you’re ok with it being warm at night.

My wife and I stayed her at the beginning of our 2 week adventure in July 2024. The location couldn't have been any better! It was literally right in the middle of everything. The room was spotless and the people that worked there were awesome. The breakfast that they had was one of the best on the trip. If we ever go back we would definitely stay here again.

We could not of picked a better hotel to stay at during our time in Iceland! The location is so perfect and it took no time to get to bus stations, dinner places, etc. The rooms were perfect and so cozy! The best part though was for sure the breakfast!! It was so so amazing! I have never tasted anything so fresh and I hate waking up early but I was willing to get up at 7 AM just to get there to eat. Not to mention all the employees who worked there were so beyond kind! Especially the front desk workers!!! 100% the BEST hotel I’ve ever stayed at and I’m for sure booking again once I come back to Iceland!!!
