Amazing food! In a beautiful little street, off the main area so a bit quieter. Perfect atmosphere with the best staff. So welcoming, great suggestions and very friendly. Great selection of food with a modern twist on traditional Greek dishes. I would go back for sure if I had more time in Athens. We had the moussaka croquettes, chicken pita tacos and the triple fried potatoes 👌🏽

Firstly, this restaurant has almost faultless reviews on TripAdvisor and Goggle and there is 1 review that suggests the staff beg for 5* reviews and 'bribe' for better comments - we initially thought 'well that explains it then,' however from our experience our meal at at Abibayio was the best meal we had from our whole time in Athens, and ranks among the best we have had in a very long time. It is a real shame that someone has shared such a negative experience and called many of the other fantastic reviews into question - I do not wish to question others' experiences, as I hope everyone posts genuine reviews, but I honestly cannot see how anyone could have had anything other than a 5* experience here.

The staff were brilliantly attentive, especially filling glasses promptly, and showed a genuine interest in who we were as customers, and had great knowledge about the menu. The food was incredible, as shown in the pictures, and we couldn't decide which dish was our favourite as it was all fantastic. The pork dish is something I'll be talking (and thinking) about for some time - it was genuinely exquisite.

I went with my partner, we shared a bottle of wine and a starter, we had a main meal each, and a complimentary dessert, and it came to 68 Euros, I can't remember a meal that we have had that comes close to this for value for money - in the UK I think you would have paid over £25 for the pork dish alone.

Please do not be put off by the review suggesting other 5* reviews are not genuine - this restaurant is amazing and you should definitely go.

There’s no better place for dinner in Greece! The service is the friendliest I’ve experienced in my travels through Europe: they were helpful and seemed genuinely interested in having a friendly conversation with us, the food was so delicious we’re planning on returning to try out some more of their plates, they have a vast assortment of refreshments, and there was little to no wait time. We found this place by happenstance, but I hope you go to it by choice. You’ll want to come back for more. Highly recommended!

Very beatiful place, we have ground floor and 1 and 2 floor. Famous server and food. We have gluten free pitta bread.  We received a dessert as a courtesy of the company Thanks. I recomamded.

This is an excellent place to taste and enjoy some "reimagined" traditional Greek dishes. Fantastic Greek tavern with kind and very professional staff in a beautiful environment. Highly recommended!
