Although it's in ruins, this 132AD library is definitely still worth a visit. They're some information signs inside that will explain the interesting history of the library and give you a rough visualization on how beautiful the library once looked like.

I liked the ruins of the wall that is once part of the main library room, even in it's ruined state, you can still feel the impressiveness of the architecture and design. Definitely worth a visit using the combo ticket.

The Hadrian Library is an incredible historical site! 🏛️ The ruins are well-preserved and offer a fascinating glimpse into the past. Hadrian's Library is located in the Acropolis and is surrounded by restaurants and souvenir ships. It isn't expensive to enter, but I would recommend downloading an auto guide to explain the significance of the site, as it will help to make sense of the ruins scattered across the large site.

The tourist site is accessible to people of all abilities but with limited cold water and toilets available. It wasn't the most popular site, so there was no queue to enter.

Hadrian's Library was constructed by Roman Emperor Hadrian in 132 AD on the north side of the Acropolis in Athens. This impressive structure, built in the typical Roman forum style, featured a single entrance with a grand propylon, a high surrounding wall with decorative niches, and a central courtyard adorned with columns and a reflecting pool. The eastern side housed the library itself, where scrolls were stored, while adjacent halls served as reading rooms and lecture spaces.
The library suffered significant damage during the Herulian invasion of 267 AD but was later restored by the prefect Herculius between 407 and 412 AD.

Very nice day to walk about.
Got the combo ticket at the Hadrian's Library entrance, which allows visits to 7 sites (visited 6).
When in Greece these ancient archeological sites are a must see and this combo ticket is worth the money.
