Dear Mr Huber and Team,
on a cold winter’s night near the end of November we accidentally stumbled upon your fine establishment.
Our experience was met with a warm and charming atmosphere, great food, friendly humble service and exceptionally good wine.
The Corte Giara Ripasso Valpolicella 2021 was a good find.

The warm crusty bread with 3 assorted butters were very welcome, as was the creamy pumpkin soup.

The beef short rib with mash, jus and al dente vegetables was the winner but the wild mushroom tagliatelle was a close second.
Desserts could be a bit more creative as we weren’t tempted but that’s less calories for us.

Thanks for one of the nicer experiences in 2.5 years in Oberbayern.

By the way, there was plenty toilet paper 🤣 and your post response to the trolls was excellent entertainment.

Ausgezeichneter Service und fantastische  Speisen!!!! TOP QUALITÄT ! Leckere Weine ,die super Begleitung zum unserem Essen waren. EINES DER BESTEN RESTAURANTS IN BAYERN!!!!
Und das alles würde gekocht nur von einer Person Herr Marcus Werner und seine nette Frau Magdalena kümmert sich um eine gemütliche Atmosphäre im Restaurant!

Wir wurden freundlich empfangen, gut beraten und haben hervorragend gegessen. Danke für den schönen Abend in Wasserburg. Und wir waren dann noch pünktlich beim Bürgerspiel. Perfekt!

We were warmly welcomed, given good advice and had an excellent meal. Thank you for the lovely evening in Wasserburg. And we were still at the civic game on time. Perfect!
