The food and atmosphere was great, although my veal was not as tender as I had expected. This was the case for all 3 of us, who ate the same thing. I also did not find much creativity in the food. Solid ingredients, nice presentation and overall good. But not a Michelin 1 star restaurant. The biggest shock however was the service. As each course was delivered, there was no explanation about what we were eating. We also ordered a bottle of champagne and quite an expensive red wine. I was shocked that they did not even offer to decant the red. Then at the end, be ready to pay cash. A Michelin restaurant cash only? They say they took EC card (a German only debit card), but mine didn't work there, even though it did work at another restaurant that only took cash or EC card (a typical German restaurant where you aren't surprised to pay in cash). Not a Michelin experience.

Nice small restaurant and even though it's small it's basically devided into 3 small rooms, so you always have a very intimate feeling.
Food and service was excellent. We visited the Bistro and opted for a 4 course fish and seafood meal. All courses were excellent. Service was great. Friendly and there when needed. Wine prices are very reasonable for a restaurant of this quality. Will surely return

Good food but by far not as outstanding as in former times. For this quality too expensive. Service could pay better attention.

Wir waren zu viert im Schwarz á la carte essen und wurden im Aussenbereich zu Tisch gebracht. Ein sehr schönes sommerliches Ambiente, Olivenbäume und ein sehr mediterran gestalteter Innenhof umrandet von Sandstein Gemäuer. Mit Lichtakzenten im Grünen. Man sitzt auf sehr bequemen Gartenmöbeln und hat auch genug Platz am Tisch. Der Service ist aufmerksam und unaufdringlich und so fühlt man sich sehr wohl. Die Aperitiv Auswahl ist groß und auch ohne Alkohol gab es schöne Angebote.
Das Menü ist von 2 bis 5 Gänge wählbar und ist saisonal ausgerichtet.  Wir hatten rundum einen großen Genuss, das Essen war ausnahmslos aromatisch, perfekt zubereitet und angerichtet. Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen und wir sind sicher, wir kommen wieder!

Four of us ate á la carte at Schwarz and were seated outside. A very nice summery atmosphere, olive trees and a very Mediterranean courtyard surrounded by sandstone walls. With light accents in the green. You sit on very comfortable garden furniture and also have enough space at the table. The service is attentive and unobtrusive and makes you feel very comfortable. The aperitif selection is large and there were also nice offerings without alcohol.
The menu can be chosen from 2 to 5 courses and is seasonal.  We had a great time all around, the food was without exception aromatic, perfectly prepared and presented. We really enjoyed it and we're sure we'll be back!
