Selective but excellent menu with good drink pairings

Wir waren unter der Woche auf einer Firmenevent eingeladen. Gemütlicher Gastraum welcher auf rustikal / modern hergerichtet ist. Der Empfang vom Personal war freundlich.
In der sehr sehr übersichtlichen Speisekarte hatte ich mich für die Thüringer Bratwürste entschieden für knappe 19€, ohne Beilagensalat.
Die Würstchen waren geschmacklich in Ordnung, jetzt nichts besonderes. Das Sauerkraut und der Kartoffelbrei dürften etwas pikanter sein. Der Kartoffelbrei war sehr sehr fest.
Die Portion war schon etwas sehr dürftig und lieblos angerichtet. Auch die anderen Gerichte.

Zuerst wollte ich das Filesteak nehmen. Wobei bei 180g zu 42€ die Verhältnismäßigkeit für mich nicht mehr stimmt.
Der Service war immer freundlich und zuvorkommend.
Gegen 22 Uhr wurden die Tische abgeräumt, dass man das Gefühl bekam , dass man jetzt Feierabend möchte. Wir haben dann auch umgehend bezahlt.
Im Großen und Ganzen in Ordnung. Preislich oberste Grenze. Für uns etwas zu oversized.

We were invited to a company event during the week. Cozy guest room which is decorated in a rustic/modern style. The reception from the staff was friendly.
From the very, very clear menu, I chose the Thuringian bratwurst for just under €19, without a side salad.
The sausages tasted okay, nothing special. The sauerkraut and mashed potatoes could be a little spicier. The mashed potatoes were very, very firm.
The portion was very poor and carelessly prepared. Also the other dishes.

First I wanted to take the file steak. At 180g for €42 the proportionality is no longer right for me.
The service was always friendly and accommodating.
At around 10 p.m. the tables were cleared away so that you got the feeling that it was time to get off work. We then paid immediately.
Overall OK. The highest price limit. A little too oversized for us.

Ein toller Abend. Ein schönes Ambiente. Ein super Service, zuvorkommend, aufmerksam und freundlich. Das Essen, war geschmacklich wie auch optisch sehr gut. Wir werden bestimmt wieder kommen. Danke für das super Essen.

Ich berichte leider von einer nicht allzu guten Erfahrung. In meinem Essen war ein Stück  Plastik, ungefähr Fingernagel-groß. An sich finde ich das gar nicht so dramatisch, der Umgang war leider unglücklich, da die Servicekraft außer „oh, danke“ keinerlei Reaktion gezeigt hat. Ich habe nicht erwartet, auf das Essen eingeladen zu werden, aber eine Entschuldigung wäre nett gewesen. Auch die Schichtleitung - so habe ich es zumindest interpretiert - hat nicht wirklich reagiert.
Allgemein wirkte der Service unkoordiniert und hat zu ungünstigen Zeitpunkten unser Gespräch unterbrochen, viel zu früh nach der Bestellung gefragt und wollte auch abräumen, obwohl wir noch am Essen waren.
Das Essen war ok, handwerklich gut gemacht, andererseits nichts besonderes, weswegen ich auch die Preise zumindest als diskutabel einstufen würde.
Wir kommen auch aus der Gastro und war vor dem Hintergrund des Umgangs und der unser Meinung nach fehlenden Rafinesse beim Essen ein wenig enttäuscht…

Unfortunately, I'm reporting a not-so-good experience. There was a piece of plastic about the size of a fingernail in my food. I don't think it's that dramatic in itself, the interaction was unfortunately unfortunate because the service staff didn't show any reaction apart from "oh, thank you". I didn't expect to be invited to dinner, but an apology would have been nice. The shift management - at least that's how I interpreted it - didn't really react either.
In general, the service seemed uncoordinated and interrupted our conversation at inopportune times, asked about the order far too early and wanted to clear away even though we were still eating.
The food was ok, well-crafted, but on the other hand, nothing special, which is why I would classify the prices as at least debatable.
We also come from the catering industry and were a little disappointed given the way we were treated and what we felt was a lack of sophistication in the food…

Wir waren heute mal wieder zum Mittagessen bei Ihnen. Wie immer toller Service und sehr leckeres Essen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
