Having stayed and eaten at The Feniere for 6 times in previous years when Reine Samuut was the proprietor, we always used this hotel to stay at when we were travelling through the South it was our banker knowing we would be happy there and get good Service.  We hadn’t booked as we found ourselves in the area we were lucky (so we thought )there was a room available for 2 nights. The room was very sparsely furnished no headboard, Tv , no Fridge paintwork marked, bathroom curtain over the bath for the shower, paint coming off the tiles on the vanity unit.
We ate in the Restaurant completely dissatisfied a choice of 2 starter, 2 mains which one was fish, 2 desserts.  All courses were tasteless. We are not Vegetarian or vegan we are happy to eat vegetarian if there is taste we like good food but felt that the plot has been lost here.  In all style over substance The Sommelier was dressed in what I would garden in ! a sloppy jumper!   The music in the background was very dreary it was very badly lit  no lights to show off the lovely grounds with the olive trees, as they always used to be.
The reception staff were very accommodating ,
So no we will not return to our once favourite hotel restaurant .

The overnight and dining experience were lovely but fell short on a couple of counts which stop it from being top notch. The food was outstanding but no cereal products were used which make it almost like a series of divine tapas. The pétanque court had weeds and dog  droppings making a game less inviting. On the other hand,  the rooms were perfect, the pools lovely, and the staff gave high satisfaction. All in all one needs to balance the price against these considerations since it is positioned as premium.

What a great meal. Clean flavors, innovative and very well presented food. The quality of the service was unmatched and the sommelier was amazing with recommendations and the backstory of the restaurant.
Beautiful surroundings and effortless decoration that fit perfectly the restaurant vibe.

Recommended and would definitely be back. Continue the excellent work.

Beautiful, peaceful and nourishing!  La Feniere is an absolute gem and an exquisite example of hospitality at it's best.  From the gorgeous grounds, the relaxed environment, the welcoming and attentive staff to the wonderful and healthy cuisine, it's the total package for a delightful stay in Provence.  The staff could not have done more to make me feel welcome and cared for, as if I'd entered the cozy home of a good friend.  And that is what I will always consider La Feniere to be.  Hoping to return soon and I recommend it highly for a wonderful, nurturing, authentic experience.

Lovely setting for Sunday brunch. The menu was very creative and the presentation exquisite. The gluten free bread and pastries were excellent.
