Fantastic food. Service a little slow for my liking but I think this is normal. They start with bread and butter (complimentary). The desserts are absolutely divine and the frogs legs were delicious. You must get the chocolate mousse, it could feed a family even though it was a portion for 2 people! Overall, this will be one of my go to spots whenever I visit the city. Thank you to Bilal for his brilliant service. Lunch with a few mains and desserts was about €150 excluding tips but the atmosphere, the food and the overall vibe here is worth it and it's a uptown neighbourhood so don't come looking for a cheap meal :)

We arrived without any expectations, but after our first visit, we couldn't imagine dining anywhere else for our second night in Paris. We returned to this restaurant for two consecutive days because the culinary experience was exceptional. The highlights of our meals: the escargots, beef tartare, mashed potatoes (I'm a big fan and rarely find mashed potatoes this good), and spinach. I would not recommend the pasta, as it is too simple compared to the other offerings. This restaurant is a must-visit.

Food is good, presentation nice, staff is great. It’s full of American tourists, and not good ones.
Much better crowd at lunch during the week days. Avoid weekends if you can.

But the specials are very good, the Dover sole is great, excellent mashed potato’s, and a very good steak.

So, this place is the one we used to go frequently being in Paris. Nice atmosphere, descent seasonal food.
However, last time when we went, all went wrong.
Upon we came - arrogant service, not welcoming, not responsive. We’ve been placed at the table next to column where is the main narrow passage of the waiters was, where they were running with huge trays full of plates. I’ve asked 3 times if they have another table. Answer was on repeat NO, NO, NO despite the fact that it was 15:30 and the end of the service.
So finally, after having a dessert a waiter punched my head. Karma? Maybe yes, but only a very poor sorry followed. Thanks for a spoiled Sunday and headache for the rest of the day. Hope only headache.
I have a strong feeling of an indifference of the personnel to their clientele. Spot is becoming just another touristic spot with a conveyor service.
And to finish, Pavlova is not good.

Steak tartare melts in your mouth! Escargot was excellent. Our server (we didn’t catch his name, he was fluent in Arabic) had very warm hospitality. This place is more formal, upscale. We walked in for lunch, no reservation. I recommend without hesitation! Thank you for our memorable first meal in Paris!
