Car broken down so had an impromptu stop - what a find. The staff are all lovely, the location near the lake is excellent. And then there was the restaurant! We did NOT expect such high quality food and service. The wines are awesome too. The rooms are comfy and clean. We will come back. Thank you.

Ample parking and being only a 15 minute walk of the Marina was 2 of the only advantages of staying here. Upsetting upon arrival the pool was shut, this being towards the end of July was a strange occurrence especially as it was 33 degrees Celsius. The restaurant not being open was also rather strange as other guests agreed. Felt like it was about to close down. Staff were not overly friendly or welcoming, everything was a lot of effort.

Felt very ripped off as tourists in a quiet spot.
First time my partner and i went for a glass of wine and a pint and was charged €12 for the pint and €11 for a wine.
Second time we had booked a place accross the road for dinner called 'Brasserie Du Lac' and when we arrived to see the building closed and all lights off we rang and it was actually some how connected to this hotel down the road that we had previously that day had this experience in. We reluctantly went in, we walked straight back out when we saw the atmosphere and the menu.

It's a shame as it has potential, the receptionist/owner was okay.  The dog is beautiful.

Tired and old fashioned furnishings spoil this quaint over priced hotel.
Staff helpful- our room was meant to have a view but I could only see 3 dustbins (outside kitchen) & the graveyard opposite (which is ok I guess but hardly romantic) , oh and a large hedge blocked the view of the grounds/pool. I asked to be moved & William in reception managed to find us a room downstairs overlooking the grounds but the check in and check out seemed to take forever.
The room was ok but we had 1 small bottle of water between the 2 of us! Dolce gusto machine ok but only 3 pods to share between us.
Clean linen and comfortable bed.
Air conditioning in room was a bonus.
Food was good but not as splendid as expected but we only had the basic gourmet evening meal.
The entree was a tasteless carrot mousse.
Salmon & beetroot salad tasty.
Main meal of fish good
Chocolate desert was to die for.
Doubt if we shall stay again as very overpriced for what it is.

Excellent lodgings. Professional service. Exquisite food.  Lacking only a Tesla Destination Charger to be perfect (Troyes SC about 15km away, though). Attractive gardens with outdoor pool. Spa on site.
