A real treat nestled in a Manor House just next to the old port of Ste Marine. The building and grounds are those of a hotel (very well refurbished and maintained) with a decor that’s part mid-century scandi and part classic French granite. In the photos the dining area looks a little bland and Formica (new photos needed) but in fact is spacious and private.
Upon arrival it’s drinks and some amuses bouche in a small lounge bar with picture window views across to Benodet. Then we have a lovely corner table looking out of the terrace and river, seeing both benodet and the bridge.
Food - what can I say? The main impression was that it was primarily food. Full of taste, substance and lovely combinations. Yuzu abounded, lifting some of the creamier seafood to a new level. I now dream of the langoustine ravioli in a yuzu-infused lobster sauce! Incredible. The presentation was excellent with plenty of star-winning technique on display, but it was still noticeably, consistently and joyously food first and foremost.
At the end of the meal the waitress took our photo with an instant camera and the staff made us a card to commemorate our silver wedding anniversary. Lovely touch.
Even though this was a special occasion I feel the need to return here for more anniversaries ;)
This is a restaurant that gives faith in Michelin ratings. It was all about the food, the experience and an incredible meal and dining experience. Thanks to the staff it was a really memorable evening. Highly recommended.

The Langoustine Ravioli is simply superb!  Impeccable service and excellent wines in a beautiful setting.

Endroit superbe donnant sur la mer, cuisine excellente, accueil parfait, service impeccable, nous avions pris le menu plaisir qui porte bien son nom. La raviole au langoustine un pur délice, le homard une délectation, quant au gwel quelle belle découverte. Je vous recommande cette adresse.

Superb place overlooking the sea, excellent cuisine, perfect welcome, impeccable service, we had the pleasure menu which lives up to its name. The langoustine ravioli is a pure delight, the lobster is a delight, and the gwel is a great discovery. I recommend this address.

Un moment de grâce dans un écrin de toute beauté,une batisse majestueuse, la villa tri men.
Seuls les clients de l’hôtel peuvent accéder au parking intérieur en véhicule. Pour les autres, le stationnement dans la rue peut s’avérer parfois compliqué.
Une fois le portail franchit, la beauté du site vous enchante.
Le restaurant est cossus, l’équipe en salle dévoué et sympathique. Les conseils de la sommelière sont précieux.
La cuisine du chef est somptueuse, délicate et exclusivement tournée vers la mer. L’ensemble du repas est un ravissement pour le palais et 4 de vos cinq sens sont rythmés par l’arrivée des plats.
Un sans faute pour le chef Claquin et sa brigade sans oublié le chef pâtissier.

Only hotel guests can access the indoor parking lot by vehicle. For others, street parking can sometimes be complicated.
Once through the gate, the beauty of the site enchants you.
The restaurant is opulent, the dining room team dedicated and friendly. The sommelier’s advice is invaluable.
The chef's cuisine is sumptuous, delicate and exclusively focused on the sea. The entire meal is a delight for the palate and 4 of your five senses are punctuated by the arrival of the dishes.
A flawless performance for chef Claquin and his brigade without forgetting the pastry chef.

Très belle demeure avec beaucoup de charme et cette terrasse au bord de l'eau où on savoure une boisson alcoolisée ou pas. Côté cuisine les plats étaient délicieux et d'une finesse au palais c'est une belle découverte. Le service est très professionnel et souriant agrémenté d'une explication de chaque plat présenté. Une belle adresse.

Very beautiful residence with a lot of charm and this terrace by the water where you can enjoy an alcoholic drink or not. In terms of cuisine, the dishes were delicious and delicate on the palate, it was a great discovery.
