Amazing restaurant in the heart of Meursault. This restaurant offers a wine list for low prices. This is their policy and therefore they have an exceptional impressive list. We had the full Monty menu, what we highly recommend. We loved every dish. Service professional en helpfull. We loved it!

We try to come at least once when we’re in Burgundy so I’ve been reticent to write a review because we’ve wanted to keep Le soufflot a slight secret, but it’s time. This is a beautiful, intimate restaurant in Meursault with unique, marvelous food and a very extensive wine list presented by a chef who seems to be just enjoying his love of inventive, delicious, meticulously presented food.

A standout from winter 2024 was the butternut squash thinly sliced, perfectly cooked & fanned on top of grilled mont d’or cheese. Omg how?! The mont d’or is not overwhelming or too rich, the texture of the squash is a perfect al denté and is perfectly paired w the cheese. And this is just the entree of one delectable meal! Also, the very thinly sliced Paris mushrooms on anything-please! We just can’t! They’re just so delicious!

Le soufflot’s staff is efficient, knowledgeable and friendly. They’re happy to explain the dishes and the sommelier’s knowledge of the wines on their encyclopedia-sized wine list is truly remarkable. Just go with his recommendation.

Come experience this lovely restaurant (how they don’t have a @michelin star or two is criminal) but please, remember to be kind and live. Enjoy the food, drink the wine and be in the moment.

It is located on the road that passes by the peripheral of Meursault. Fine dining restaurant in a bit more casual setting. It is semi-open kitchen so you can see the busy work. Food was amazing. They were creative and the plating and garnish were all beautifully executed while flavor was also on point, “seasoned” well and cooked to perfect texture for all ingredients.

The minus involves their lack of availability for glass wines. Out of 30+ restaurants I visited in Bourgogne, this was the first and the last place to offer only one type for each, red, white and sparkling. And, the unnecessary sass. Asked if I want red or white, and the server just pours away and leaves without telling me what it is. Asked for a digestif and I was given an alternative without an explanation.

Nothing was really out of place but it’s just that small detail that makes a customer return or not.

Many of the restuarant in France is close on Monday and Tuesday. We decided to choose a restuarant from one of the hotel's recommendation.
The restuarant situated in the town meursault. A pretty town in cote d'Beaune, a town that is famous for its white wine.

The food presentation is meticulously pretty. The taste of the food is joyously playful. The chef provides many unexpected twist and turn of the taste profile of his dishes. The use of lobster bisque in the fried langoustine ravioli provide beautiful combo tastes of land and sea. The freshness of green asperaus and goat cheese. The use of local Charolais beef and pinoi noir reduction sauce is simple yet elagant. It is a shame that we could not pair the food with the buttery Meursalt wine. We opt for a more power pinot noir from nearby village.

P.s. the wine list is ridiculously excellent and inexpensive.
