If you’re looking for an unforgettable dinner spot near Geneva, La Ferme de l’Hospital is where it’s at. The place has this super cozy, yet classy vibe—it’s in a restored farmhouse, so it’s all rustic but fancy at the same time. In the summer, you can sit outside, and the views of the Salève mountain are insane.
The food? Absolutely next level. The chef changes the menu with the seasons, so everything is super fresh and creative. Every dish feels like it’s straight out of a foodie Instagram post—so good you almost don’t want to eat it (but trust me, you’ll want to). Plus, their staff is super nice and helps you pick the perfect wine if you’re into that.
Long story short, it’s the kind of place you go when you want to feel fancy and treat yourself to seriously amazing food. Definitely worth it!

My colleagues offered us as a wedding present a coupon for menu degustation of 6 services including drinks which worth €300 based on their site. The coupon expired in June 2024. Meanwhile I went through difficult pregnancy and gave birth in May 2024 with complications, completely forgotten about this (which I entirely took responsibility for). I called them in December (6 months passed after the expiry date), explaining about the situation politely and tried to see if there is anything they could do. To my utter surprise, the so called responsible gave unpleasant, rude answer which I quote here word by word: “you are not special for being pregnant and giving birth. We have received plenty of other pregnant women in our establishment”. This respond sent me off the roof.

Owning up my responsibilities to also should have called earlier, I was just expecting a compassionate response. Even if at the end the answer would still be a no, but delivered in a good manner and service oriented attitude, we would have still come. After such an experience, not only we will never go there and spend our money, but I will also share this experience to my other fellow expat colleagues in Geneva.

Maybe such service is very well accepted in France but not where I come from and I can vouch for lots of other establishments in Geneva which offers better quality of services.

The best 31st December meal i had in my life. Normal from a Michelin restaurant.
Personnel extremely dedicated, professional and polite, the food, out of this world.

We went back to La Ferme de l’Hospital last week and it again confirmed the quality of this exceptional restaurant which has never disappointed us. It is good on so many levels; from the welcome which you receive when you walk in; from the wine list which requires great restraint; from the freshly made bread which each table receives; from the menu which has something for every taste. High quality food at its best, the French way. If you have the chance to try it, jump on the occasion - you won’t be disappointed .
