I’m updating my Google reviews from a while back—this one’s from March 2016! I originally posted it on TripAdvisor. It’s great to see that Poco Loco is still going strong and survived the Covid years.

The first time I came here, I was solo. The place had a cozy vibe, friendly staff, and amazing food at great value—right in the heart of Chamonix.

After that, I brought friends back a few more times during my stay. Who would’ve thought anyone could make something out of this long, narrow space? But somehow, they’ve turned it into a cool, laid-back burger joint that just works.

You can see the burgers being made as you walk in—nice touch! You’ll need to order at the bar, and trust me, the burgers are massive and seriously filling. If you’re eating in, try the fries inside the burger for something fun and different. And, of course, you’ve got to pair it with a cold beer. The fresh, crusty rolls they use are next-level good!

There was a Kiwi guy working there back in the day who was trying to improve his French, but most people kept chatting to him in English. I wonder if he’s still there? If you meet him—or anyone else—give them a chance to practice their French!

Don’t miss checking out the vintage signage on the walls—it adds to the charm.

I can’t wait to get back to Chamonix and visit Poco Loco again. It’s still one of my favorite spots!

Staffed by an international frenzy of young staff, the place is already filled with a good vibe!

A large menu, we ordered a smash burger and a cheese burger with a side of fries! To be honest, we got smashed by the local IPAs and by the burger!!

Definitely will be returning, especially after a long day in the mountains!!

That's yummiest burger I've ever tasted, I've tried the Poco Loco Burger but without the becon.

The double partty is amazing 😍, medium rare and I live it.

The buns is not your regular buns, it's more like the French bagget and it's crunchy on the outside and fluffy inside.

Last but least, the fries. The oh my goodness crunchy big fries.

Service is super high fast 👌🏻

Amazing burger. I would recommend the smash burgers. A variety of choices when it comes to burgers and price value is great. I personally didn’t like the creps as much as they were very oily and it seemed to me a bit undercooked. For the price you pay for the creps you should get at least 2 creps.

Poco Loco Burger does the job if you’re looking for a satisfying meal! The portions are huge, so you definitely get your money’s worth. The burgers are tasty and hit the spot. The real highlight, though, is the staff—they’re incredibly kind and friendly, which makes the experience even better. If you’re in the mood for a big, hearty burger, Poco Loco is a great choice.
