Location is pretty convenient. This hotel is quite big, has two or maybe three separate buildings, and my room happened to be situated at the furthest end. I don’t have a complaint, but just thinking this may be a bit hard for small children or elderly as the breakfast is at the main building, and it’s a bit of walk with many many doors.

Stunning, whimsical, and the perfect location.
Worst part of staying here is that we stayed only one night.
The unique exterior perfectly prepares one for the interior.
The calm ambience instantly removed us from the outdoors wintery conditions, which was most welcome. Helsinki can be a tad chilly in the winter in case you wondering.
Our room was cozy, clean, and quiet.
The location of the hotel allowed afford us the ability to walk everywhere our maddingly short stay permitted.
Highly recommend this hotel to the short, and long, term traveller who appreciates decor and dedication to impeccable service.

Lovely, quirky hotel in a great part of town. Rooms super, service good and strives for sustainability, all wrapped up in a 1930s castle. Located in the thriving Design District  you are right in the centre. Lots of places to eat right on your doorstep. Central station a 7 minute tram ride away.

Charming, cozy, unforgettable!

The first thing that grabbed my attention was how unique the hotel felt—there’s this cool, medieval vibe to the building, but with all the modern comforts woven in perfectly. It’s like stepping back in time, but with all the luxuries of today!

The rooms are on the smaller side, but honestly, they’re so beautifully decorated and cozy, it didn’t even matter. I loved how everything was designed to make the most of the space. And can we talk about breakfast? It was so good—everything was fresh, and there were tons of options, no matter what you’re into. But what really made my stay memorable was the staff. They were so warm and welcoming, always there to help with a smile or just to chat about what to do around the city.

I left feeling like I had been truly taken care of. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Enjoyed our stay here. The staff are warm and helpful.  They recommended tours we could avail, places offering local cuisine etc.  The breakfast was delicious,  with a vast array of choices.
The lobby and ground floor were inviting
