Very lovely and luxurious rooms. it’s very near to both the airport and Santa Claus village. Santa park is just right beside! The hotel staff here are all very friendly and professional. Thanks to the hotel team for the hospitality for me and my wife during our anniversary. The view at night is beautiful and they have valet service all day to transfer you from your room to the reception or Santa park!

Exceptional at every level. From the lovely welcome drinks to the smiley hassle free checkin, right through to the magical location and fabulous restaurant. This place has it and does it all. Staff are fantastic and amazingly attentive. If you want a place that goes above and beyond, this is it.

We booked with arctic tree hotel to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary and to see the Northern Lights. Staff, every single one, went beyond and above to make us comfortable. They are a joyful and organized staff. The hotel itself is unique, spotless, and very well situated for viewing Northern Lights and visiting Santa’s village  and the town of Rovaniemi. The restaurant is exquisite! The breakfast buffet boasts Lapland favourites and the dinner menu is exquisite!!! If we didn’t live so far away in Canada, we would visit again and again!!!!

We didn't have the best weather (rain) & didn't get to enjoy the snow (none on ground) so maybe not a truly fair review but I found this place grossly over priced & lacking in the attributes expected at high end resort. Staff OK & attentive but atmosphere lacking.  Rooms nothing special. Restaurant really over priced for what you were served although food quality good. Given an opportunity to go back I would take a pass.

Arctic Treehouse is such a cool idea, that failed a bit on execution. Rooms are very clean, and the window is awesome - depending on what room you got. We got room 1, which was next to the restaurant. This meant that every day people walked in front of your room to get to the restaurant...Most days, it was just too awkward to leave our shades open, which kind of defeated the purpose of the whole stay. It also meant the lights and sounds from the restaurant and sled hill were a factor as well. I do think a futher out room would have been better. However, the nest feature was a hit with our son, and was a cool idea for families. As for the hotel itself, there isn't much by way of ameneties, and the service felt like just a standard hotel. While everyone was nice, nothing felt like the price we paid for the stay, and we had a few times where it felt like it was a chore that someone had to answer a question for us. Also, one of the biggest downsides, is that room temperature is controlled by thr front. You have to message them each time to change it, and for us it never was ideal. We like to sleep in cooler environments, and we asked them to turn off all heat and it would be good for a bit, but we woke up sweating. It is just frustrating to not be able to control this yourself, especially for over a grand a night. As for amenties, no free sauna, no gym, and other than the one restaurant no building or area to visit outside of your room. There is only one sled hill, and one tubing hill, which didn't seem like much compared to other resorts we visited while there. Everything on property is spread out - and while you can get a ride, that sometimes is not worth the hassle. It is a beautiful stay, but not for the price we paid, and unless it went down significantly - or more was included (like the sauna) we would not stay here again.
