Put this place at the top of your list for dinner in Tallinn. An absolute treat from start to finish. We took our lovely waitresses advice and we are so glad we did. We got the venison tartare and tuna to start, which were both really fresh and full of flavour. The tuna in particular was incredibly zesty and really well balanced. We then had the most beautifully cooked piece of halibut we have ever had for our main. It was like it had a bath in butter. The bread that also comes to the table is delicious. The venue itself was beautifully decorated for Christmas. The menu also is a rotating menu, so it’s a surprise of what you can get on the night which I like. Going by the quality of the food, you won’t be disappointed. If we are ever back in Tallinn I hope to return. Thank you for making our anniversary a lovely one.

We visited this place for dinner before Christmas and it was easy to get a table without any reservation. Although this place is in the center of the old city there were still some empty spots. The menu is very simple with just a few choices written on a blackboard. The staff is very friendly and speaks excellent English, so they could describe all details about the dishes. We tried the Pikanha and the Cacio pasta and both were very tasty and well cooked.

Nicely tucked in the corner. Rotation menu. We had beef and pumpkin risotto. Beef was great with potatoes sides. Risotto was too salty for our liking. As for dessert we had the apple tart was fantastic

Beautiful place with a smooth and elegant atmosphere. Very polite and on time serving. Food, no words for it... Perfect, indescribably tasty. I had cauliflower for the start and chicken liver as a main course. Red wine recommended by staff supplemented the meal.

We were visiting for a weekend, and decided to check this reputable restaurant. Service was hospitable and warm at the outset; we were greeted and quickly sat by a lady who served us the entire evening.

Now on to food: spectacular! We had the chicory with goat cheese — simple fresh ingredients, marinated and sauced superbly, the combination of flavors was well- balanced and indeed woke up our sleepy palette. Mains were also spectacular! Estonian salmon was masterfully cooked and seasoned to perfection. And the best of the night, for us, was the risotto. Homely, yet exciting in terms of the earthiness of mushrooms with the layers of cheese, grains were separated yet moderately soft to the bite. Finally the apple tartin was our dessert. Good crunch, savoury notes from the pastry and juicy sweet mascerated apples. A throughly enjoyable finish to a fantastic meal.
