The atmosphere was great, decorations were pretty and very Christmas vibes however the waiting time for the food took more than 1 hour. Considering the time we waited and the price of their menu, we were expecting for a good food. Instead, we were served with an okay kind of meal. The beef cutlet was dry, the breaded chicken that we ordered could’ve been seasoned better.

We paid 70€ for 3 dishes not including drinks yet. It’s a tourist trap. Overall, the experience was not so pleasant and it was just great for a one time experience.

Our group of eight decided to visit this spot after hearing glowing recommendations, which we can now wholeheartedly confirm. Despite not having a reservation, we were promptly seated. The meals were not only delicious but also served quickly by the cheerful and courteous staff. The highlight of the evening, however, was the captivating reenactment of a medieval duel, which added an unforgettable touch to the experience!

The food was great, the moose meatballs were delicious and honey beer is good! Sat outside as it was a nice day but looked very cool inside, medievil style interior. Staff was nice and service was decent. Price was fairly standard for old town.

Always fresh pastries, lots of filling and very tasty dough🤤Desserts are all amazing! Service is polite and friendly. Great place in the city center. They also have very tasty pretzels.

We visited 14/12/24 (Saturday) for dinner. The inside was decorated nicely for Christmas and the servers in medieval outfits which set a lovely tone. We arrived without a booking and much to our surprise we got a seat! With the menu being close to traditional Estonian food - we ordered hot wine and the house aperitif (a sort of sweet schnapps with a slight bitterness aftertaste like an Aperol) for drinks, both I recommend. For food we had the duck and the moose, both absolutely delicious. The duck was the star of the show - cooked the best I’ve ever had it. For dessert we had pancakes which were again, delicious. The servers were very kind and welcoming, but the service was quite slow as there’s just not enough of them! There were plenty of table’s available but they struggled to find time to seat people. Very sad that they are so understaffed! - A problem with the management perhaps?
Nevertheless if you are happy to wait a little longer than usual the food and drinks are totally worth it - compliments to the chef!
