A visit to Alouette is an absolute must when in Copenhagen!

Last night, my father and I had the pleasure of dining at Restaurant Alouette, and from the moment we stepped inside, we felt genuinely welcomed.

The menu was thoughtfully curated, showcasing a harmonious blend of flavors that delighted our palates.

Each dish was a testament to culinary excellence, leaving us eagerly anticipating the next course.

The service was impeccable, with meticulous attention to detail that enhanced our dining experience.

The beverage pairings were thoughtfully selected, enhancing each dish with precision. The juice pairings, in particular, were masterfully crafted, offering a delightful complement to the meal. Each sip harmonized beautifully with the flavors on the plate, showcasing the meticulous attention to detail that defines the dining experience.

The staff’s professionalism and warmth made us feel truly valued as guests.

We are already looking forward to our next visit to relive this exceptional experience.

This meal was everything we had hoped for and more. We were met outside on the sidewalk and ushered in like celebrities. The service was so easy going and not stuffy like a lot of the Michelin restaurants we have been to. Our servers Katrina and Sebastian made us feel so welcome. The food was outstanding and getting to meet the chef/owner Nick was incredible to sit and talk with him about his vision was so special.

Booked this restaurant for a Michelin star experience while in the city to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The service itself was amazing but the food was overpriced for what you got. The first few dishes from the tasting menu were fantastic with lots of flavor and interesting pairings of textures but the last four or five dishes weren’t impressive. It’s disappointing for the price you’re paying for this experience. The alcohol pairing however was good and we enjoyed a lot of the wines. The cocktail at the end was just ok. Had we known we would’ve skipped and spent our money elsewhere.

A one Michelin star restaurant in a city with many. This place had an opening for a Saturday that was unexpected. There is no sign of the restaurant from outside in case one wants to take a pick. The restaurant is located in the interior of a courtyard. There are a few hosts waiting for one outside, which provide a nice and unexpected start to the experience, especially when one is not expecting a stranger call your name. The reception from the staff and delivery to our table was phenomenal. The food overall was above average. My 4 stars is because we did not enjoy the main dish as much as the others, especially the tongue dish and bread with a lamb glazed on top. The flavor was too gamy for me and for most of the crew. The initial dishes were all superb and very flavorful. The desserts - 3 of them- were all fantastic and different going from very fresh to the complex of chocolate. The service, oh the service, perhaps the best part of the whole experience. Our waitress was so nice that she even took us on a tour of the kitchen and introduce us to everyone. One of the chefs was full of himself and seemed got offended because I asked how many years of training he had, as if a professional never stop learning. Other than that, everyone else was amazing and welcoming. For the last dish of the night, they take you into the lounge to finish the night or spend more time in a relax environment. Great idea. Finally, price is a bit higher than it should be, even for the Michelin star restaurant. Something for them to consider as otherwise, they should improve a bit more the food experience. Nonetheless, definitely will recommend to visit.

The new location by Alouette delivered a truely memorable culinary high end gourmet experience - something both new and something where comforting on the Copenhagen culinary landscape - what a blast and easy to recommend. Super international with a very local touch.
