We had a wonderful time at the Jested hotel. The “comfort” room was comfortable enough and the food was delicious! Plenty of vegetarian options in the lunch and the dinner menu. The breakfast buffet was delicious as well.
- Would be nice if bath robes and slippers were provided :)

I'm not rating the hotel. My feedback is about the lack of understanding from the hotel staff. Due to a tough flood situation, I had sent the request for canceling my reservation( reservation for one night). It was a few days prior my arrive. During that time the situation of flood in some part of Czech Republic and Poland wasn't still clear enough and the traveling was quite difficulty in some points. That was unexpected and hard situation for many people. The hotel staff refused of my request and wanted charged me 100% of canceling my reservation if so. In any other situation, the refusal would have been understandable to me and non-negotiable. As the owner of the tourist property, that hotel's replay was  incomprehensible. It seems that greed took over the understanding of the extraordinary situation over which, as a guest, I had no effect on it . Ultimately, after checking the authorities information both Polish and Czech, I had decided not to come to this hotel. Some of roads which I could to reach that place had been impassable or required complicated detours.

This is kind of adventure place where you can trek little bit and then enjoy the food and drinks with friend and family.
Must experience the sunset from tower for scenic view of the city and surroundings.

Hiked to see the Jested Tower up close, it was ok, but the view was totally worth hiking up 470 meters.
This giant sculpture is a television transmitter on top of Mount Ještěd near Liberec in the Czech Republic. Measuring 94 m (308 ft), it is made of reinforced concrete shaped in a "hyperboloid" form. The tower was designed by architect Karel Hubáček,[1] who was assisted by Zdeněk Patrman, involved in building statics, and by Otakar Binar, who designed the interior furnishing. It took the team three years to finalize the structure design (1963–1966). The construction itself took seven years to finish (1966–1973).

One of the Czech Republic’s most iconic modern buildings, this hotel sits atop a mountain on the northern border of the Czech lands, and combines a hotel, restaurant, and TV tower. You can drive to the top, but there are sometimes cable cars in operation, and the mountain can be hiked also. Numerous ski slopes are also on the mountain for those who enjoy winter sports. The hotel and restaurant have a very unique décor and for anyone interested in modern architecture, or just who enjoys unusual things on the tops of mountains, this is a must-visit.
