The food was not the best. It wasn’t very authentic Japanese and more of a fusion food. Although fusion food is good this was just very pricey and not great flavour. For example, the scampi tartare is the size of a walnut and costs 40eur. It is a Michelin starred restaurant, and they will cost more, but that is too much. The wok noodles also were overly salted and didn’t taste like Michelin material. The service was okay, the staff was kind but maybe a bit cold. The atmosphere was very good, outside it wasn’t hot but nice and cool, there was music and it was all nice. So overall 3/5, with the food dragging the review down the most.

An honest take: whenever in Rovinj, we are regular guests there, several times per vacation:-). Superb food, service to wish for, wine list to perfectly match the dishes…the garden is amazing during the summer, inside seating equally good during the winter. Wrongfully without a Michelin recommendation or even a star. Will continue to go there and thoroughly enjoy all of it.

We had nice food but strange service. Our waiter introduced himself as he will be our waiter. We ordered drinks and then he disappeared without word. Some other waitress appeared without words about what happened to him. Meals are not well described in the menu so we didn't know for all meals what is what and how many pieces we are getting. The waitress helped us describe but in the end we still ordered too much. It was very tasty but we waited too long and there were only 2 tables occupied. I give plus because for me food is important but I don't like to waste my time so long.

Excellent experience, amazing delicious food, attention to every detail. Also to mention, great service highly contributed to make our dining experience amazing. If you are searching for high quality Japanese restaurant, and don't mind spending little bit of money, this is a place to go. Strongly recommended!

We have been here twice (2023 & 2024). Both times, the service, food and Ambiente was perfect. High quality in all aspects.
We had either a live DJ or live music, both was amazing and fitting to the atmosphere. While the price is rather high, it’s worth the money.
We love that the tables are separated, which really creates an intimate atmosphere.
