Had a wonderful lunch after working up an appetite walking the walls of Dubrovnik.  The service was friendly and efficient and our meals delicious.  I had the cuttlefish risotto and it was fantastic.  Nice atmosphere by the old church at the top of Jesuit Stairs.  We left full and energized for the rest of our day!

Beautiful restaurant in a big traditional old house in the old city. Slightly out of the way but well worth the search.
A decent menu with good food well prepared. We had a great lunch. As Dubrovnik restaurants are generally good, Rudjer meets and exceeds the expected standard.
Friendly professional service that is always available but not intrusive.
The main seating in the outdoor courtyard is not the postcard seaview but the spacious open air, large courtyard garden and maple tree and view of the city walls provides a perfect old Dubrovnik ambience.

I absolutely love the dinner here, it was at the top of Jesuit Steps. The garden where we ate was beautiful. The staff was so attentive to our family with a toddler. The food was so delicious and price was reasonable. We ordered cold plate of fish, duck with homemade pasta, and wild boar ragout

Loved this place. Set in a courtyard next to the city wall. A large Liquid Amber and numerous pot plants create a peaceful ambiance. The tables are set on a deck so you don’t get the radiant heat from the concrete floor. We shared a pizza and grilled veggies. The best meal I had in Dubrovnik. The deconstructed tiramisu was also excellent. Highly recommended.
