Absolutely wonderful food! Staff is great! If you’re a fan of the Soviet times you’ll like the atmosphere… For me is a little bit too much! Otherwise the food is great! By the way chairs are not very comfortable - seat is soft and when seating too long the edge of the chair smashes your thighs… The rest is 5 star experience

Really cool concept and deco at the restaurant. Indoor seating available if you don’t want to eat with smokers around you and inhaling 2nd hand smokes.

Was recommended by a local to visit and did not disappoint! Food is great and do make room to try their dessert 😋they do have daily lunch specials but only available in Bulgarian so be sure to ask the staff as it’s not written on the menu.

Very lovely restaurant and cocktail bar. Great food atmosphere and service.

Ps: photos are taken on a Monday at 12:00 PM for reference. The place is buzzing in the evenings.

Maybe it’s just a matter of personal taste or my Italian palate not being used to Bulgarian flavors, but lunch at Raketa Rakia was a letdown. The Raketa meatballs? Way undercooked and mushy inside—basically inedible. The honey pork ribs were loaded with fat, even for someone who doesn’t mind a bit of grease. The fries looked sad and tasted just as bad. The only thing that somewhat saved the meal was the chicken and cheddar banitza—not what I expected based on street food, but at least it tasted alright.

Now, I have to say, the service was excellent—the staff was friendly and attentive. But unfortunately, the food just didn’t live up to the hype for me. Maybe someone with a different taste for Bulgarian cuisine would love it, but as for me, I wouldn’t go back.

I visited Raketa Rakia Bar with friends last night, and we had an amazing time! It wasn’t my first visit, but this time I truly enjoyed it at its best. The food was delicious, and the staff were friendly. The atmosphere brought back some of my childhood memories, making the experience even more special. It’s a top place located right next to Zaimov Park, where my grandmother used to take me as a kid. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!
