It was a pleasant discovery. The dishes seemed inspired by monastery or countryside recipes, as far as I understood. I chose a vegetarian option that reminded me of a quiche, and it was quite good. The waiter was friendly, and the place had a cozy atmosphere. Although we hadn’t made a reservation and were seated in the smoking area, which wasn’t ideal, the overall experience remained enjoyable. They also propose prayers before and after dinner, adding a unique touch to the experience.

Me and my wife went in to have lunch as we liked the medieval decor. We were in for a treat as the food was so delicious. We decided to have the wild boar and deer stews. They were so tasty we ended up coming in the next day for dinner!

Absolutely super recommended restaurant to enjoy the full Bulgarian experience ! Excellent typical food with a nice traditional atmosphere.  We did not have a reservation (Saturday evening) but they were gracious enough to serve us dinner within a 2 hour frame. The server was adorable and her recommendations on point!

The restaurant is super cozy and carries the traditional Bulgarian vibe. The decor is rustic, which adds to the whole experience. The food is hearty and comforting and has many cuisine to offer. I would recommend a visit if you want a taste of Bulgaria!

Wow, this is definitely a hidden gem in Sofia. The place is beautiful and super Instagrammable, it really feels like you're in a Bulgarian village with traditional Bulgarian decorations.

When we arrived, it seemed like the restaurant was about to close since it was a public holiday, but they still served us and seated us in the VIP section, which made the dinner feel really warm and family-like with my friends who are Bulgarian and from the Czech Republic. We were given welcome Pita Bread and a few tasting drinks. The service was excellent, and the food prices matched the portion, presentation, and the restaurant's ambiance. I highly recommend this one!
