We loved staying here for our first trip to Sofia. The staff are so welcoming right from arrival all the way through to check out. They really can’t do enough for you. The hotel itself is beautiful in a classic and dignified way. The location is perfect, right in the centre with everything in the city centre within walking distance. The view from our top floor balcony at sunrise was an added bonus. What a gem.

This hotel, a former Hyatt, subtly retains its corporate interior design, but overall, it provides a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The spa is excellent—worth the visit even though it's an additional cost for standard room guests.

Unfortunately, my partner experienced a distressing moment when the lift broke down in complete darkness for 20 minutes. It was a challenging situation, but what truly stood out was the staff's response. After we casually mentioned the incident to a staff member in the lift, the hotel immediately apologized and went above and beyond by leaving a heartfelt note and a complimentary bottle of wine and fruit bowl  in our room. This unexpected gesture left a lasting positive impression, and I wish I knew the name of the staff member so I could personally commend her here for her initiative.

The hotel's Asian restaurant is also worth mentioning—it’s generally very good, though I'd recommend steering clear of the ramen.

Despite the elevator incident, the attentive service and thoughtful recovery have secured this hotel as my go-to whenever I visit Sofia. Highly recommended!

Unfortunately, my grandad was taken very ill a day before our stay and so we could not make our trip to Sofia. I requested to move our dates and was of course willing to pay extra. Despite there being plenty of availability (we checked several sites and there were rooms available), the hotel declined our request without any explanation. I then requested a waive of the cancellation fee, as they were clearly unwilling to assist us, and was met with a very blunt no, and zero compassion, despite explaining the situation (which they did not even acknowledge). I appreciate our booking was non-refundable so I was not looking for a refund, but emergencies happen and a little bit of kindness, even to acknowledge our situation, would have gone a long way. A strong suggestion that you should work on the way you communicate to people.

This hotel is amazing: clean, direct in the city center, equipped with gym, spa and hairdresser. Staff is very nice. We enjoyed our spacious room, the lavish breakfast and the position, few steps away from Vitosha blv. A special thanks to Danko from the lobby bar who was funny with us and our daughter. Hope to come back anytime soon!

It’s a good hotel with good service. We stay there sometimes each year. However, if you plan to stay here, please check with them for a quiet room; otherwise, it is noisy because the club is nearby.
