We had a 3 course  lunch. The portions are really big. The ribeye steak was cooked a bit too far. Overall a great place to eat but for the price setting I think there are more refined places to go.

We had a great experience at this restaurant, dining here two nights in a row as a group of 13. From start to finish, everything was exceptional.

The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, making it the perfect place to enjoy dinner. The food was absolutely incredible, everything we tried was delicious, from the steaks cooked to perfection and fish to the lava cake for dessert, also we got delicious appetisers on the house with hot bread. The menu is very diverse, catering to all tastes and the drinks were just as impressive.

What impressed us the most was the professionalism and friendliness of the staff. They were extremely attentive, ensuring flawless service for such a large group. A special mention goes to Razvan and Vali, who went above and beyond to help us understand the menu in English and Romanian, which was a huge help since we don’t speak the local language. Their efforts made our experience even more enjoyable, and we are so grateful for their kindness.

Additionally, the restaurant was incredibly accommodating to my child with allergies. They carefully checked every dish to ensure she could safely enjoy her meal, which meant the world to us.

This place is a must-visit, even with all the options in central Bruges. We can’t recommend it enough!
We recommend to call ahead and make a reservation, as it’s clearly a favorite spot for good reason.

We went two evenings in a row, and food is less to say spectacular!!! Service 10*+ Razvan and Vali and all the staff are more than polite! They make you feel at home and as you are part of family!!!

0/5, Terrible Experience - Will Never Return

I am absolutely appalled by the service at this restaurant. After an hour and a half, we politely asked if there was an issue with our order, only to be met with a dismissive "it is busy" — no apology or explanation at all. In total we waited nearly two hours for our food to arrive, which is completely unacceptable.

Throughout the meal, no one bothered to check if the food was okay or if we needed anything else. It also took forever for the empty cocktail glasses to be cleared from our table.

When the food finally arrived, it was incredibly disappointing. The meat was tough and chewy, the sauce that came with the fish was unpleasantly sour, and the vegetables were soaked in so much soy sauce that they were practically inedible.

Overall, this was one of the worst dining experiences I've had in a long time. The service was appalling, and the food didn’t make up for it. I will not be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Quite the experience
Staff is super super friendly and professional. I tried my best in Dutch and the staff made me feel very comfortable although I did struggle
Food is amazing, it's among the best steaks you can have. It really puts other steak places to shame.
Room was nice and clean. It can be a bit noisy when others are in the hallways but it's an old building and it's overal a quiet place nonetheless
The scenery is beautiful and it's very close to a nice little village and to the sea.
Highly recommended for a weekend and for the restaurant, thanks Ter Doest family for making me feel like a king for a weekend!
