We loved our stay at the Goldener Hirsch. From the check in to the bellman, and restaurant staff, everyone was so kind and helpful. Patrick in the bar area was excellent making drinks and helping with restaurant reservations. We would definitely stay here again. Perfect location, great breakfast, comfortable and clean.

We recently traveled with two other couples and stayed 3 nights at Hotel Goldener Hirsch.  We all loved this hotel.  My husband & I were upgraded to a Junior Suite which was roomy and beautifully decorated with many modern conveniences.  The staff was amazing!   The attention to detail is what sets 5 star hotels apart from others and Hotel Goldener Hirsch had this in abundance.  The bartender, Teresa, was great!  Don't hesitate to book your stay in Salzburg here!

Exquisite does not even sum up this hotel. From the moment we arrived, the team was incredibly helpful, friendly and hospitable. Every detail is impeccable from the linens, to the decor, down to the attire the team wears. Location is within walking distance of anything and everything. Located in Altstadt Salzburg, you have several dining options at your doorstep. I have visited 100s of properties and this is my absolute favorite. This was my first trip to Austria and I will be back to explore more.

My husband and I stayed for 5 nights in early October and it was the definition of a luxury stay. Location is the best you can get. Our suite was spacious, clean, updated but classic. The level of hospitality, from valet parking to the nighttime turndown service was exquisite. Big shout out to Kevin who served us fabulous breakfast tea and coffee every morning. I hope to stay here again one day. Don’t hesitate on booking.

Loved it here! While it's a historic building, the updated features make it just as comfy as any modern hotel, but with all the charm you'd hope to have in the old town area of Salzburg. Can't beat this location neither! Breakfast food quality even beat the St Regis Venice in our opinion.
