I had an amazing dining experience at Hoang Restaurant in Hanoi! The Vietnamese food was absolutely delicious – every dish was packed with authentic flavors and beautifully presented. The highlight of my visit, however, was the fantastic service. The waiter captain was not only attentive but also incredibly fun and full of humor, which made the atmosphere so much more enjoyable. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for great food and a lively, welcoming vibe. I'll definitely be coming back!

Wanted to share my experience! The food was absolutely delicious with generous portion sizes. My favorite was the house-made spring rolls—simply amazing! The service was the real highlight, though. Tuan was incredibly knowledgeable and made us feel right at home. His recommendations were spot on. Highly recommend this place! 💯

What can go wrong with a restaurant with 15k views averaging 4.9? Mainly, the RATS running around the open structures in roof ceiling.
This hugely popular restaurant sits underwhelming just outside Old Quarter's hippest area. At 9.30 p.m., downstairs, which look much better, was full and were sat upstairs which was doom, run down, full of dust and cobwebs (whether that was part of the ambience, I am not sure). The food was mostly good, specially the Bun Cha, the spring rolls etc. Service was quick and friendly.
So how do they get such high Google reviews with rats? My observation is that the friendly waiter asks whether you enjoyed the meal, then gets your phone to scan the google rating and presses the 5-star - an impressive and successful technique.
Should you try out this place...? Sit downstairs and don't go near the kitchen.

I visited Vietnam for 8 days, and this restaurant has the best Vietnamese food that I have tried during this trip. We ordered 4 dishes and all are very delicious. Highly recommend.

They serve a very nice pho bo! The broth was mild and yet flavorful, the beef had a good bite to it, not chewy at all. However, the French fries were disappointing as they dripped with grease. The staff were extremely attentive and kind.
