Really yummy!! We didn’t know what the menu items meant so we just asked for “two”. And he gave us something and it was great.
I would recommend getting the Youtiao (fried dough) with it. Let the youtiao soak in the broth then eat it. So yummy!
It’s not the most filling but there’s a generous amount of meat.
It’s a decently busy spot but we didn’t wait for a seat or anything.

I recently visited this Phở spot, which is featured in the Michelin guide, and I have to say,  the broth was too sweet , not clean table . However, the service was a major letdown. The staff seemed disinterested and unfriendly, you have to bring down the hot bowl of Pho by yourself

The owner also there but seem like that the way they do business. No menu on table and you have to pay before you eat

Given the high expectations set by its Michelin recognition, I was expecting a much better experience overall. Hopefully, they can improve their service to match the quality of the food.

A popular restaurant that serves Pho Bo and specialises in 3 different cuts of beef. I tried the Pho Tai Nam, with the fried Chinese doughnut (Dau Chao Quay) and egg yolk soup. This is one of the few pho restaurants which serve double egg yolk with their beef soup. The Pho comes out quickly and the soup is boiling hot and has a nice light flavour. There are seats both inside the restaurant and at the front and it relatively clean compared to some others. It is conveniently located and is good value for the price. Overall a 4.5/5 and worth a visit if you are in Hanoi 👍😋

Three of us had the beef pho with egg and a couple of plates of the fried dough. The total was 200,000 VND (around US$8). The pho was delicious and flavorful.

When we arrived, there was a significant queue and nowhere to sit. However, by the time that we reached the front of the queue and got our food, we managed to grab three seats at a table (and the other person left fairly shortly later -- he was on a food tour and this was his fifth stop!)

All in all, this was great food and a great experience.

The noodles are tender, the beef perfectly thin, and the garnish minimal—because perfection doesn’t need embellishment. It’s messy, it’s chaotic, and it’s worth every second. If you’re not sweating over your bowl by the end, you haven’t truly lived Hanoi.
